I have no interest in that. I'm really content with six films. If they do make more, I'd prefer to see them take place thousands of years into the future.

I'd like to see the Saga continued in some way I'm not sure I prefer any era beside wanting to see Starkillers story come to a close or rebooted.I think either or would be good for me.

Now that the actors are old they should make episodes VII, VIII and IX set some 30-40 years after episode VI andprobably include their kids begining to fall for the dark side and the return of the jedi order

That whole part on Kamino is great IMO, and the two part action sequence between Obi Wan and Jango is my favourite in the saga, especially the fight on the loading deck. :D The sound effects in the asteroid chase are amazing, especially when you see the film in the cinema, they really pull you in like a rollercoaster for your ears lol.
Yeah, it's pretty awesome. AOTC gets slammed a lot, but it has a lot of great action scenes. I dont think i've enjoyed a cinematic experience as much as i enjoyed watching SW, especially ROTS. I skipped work for all of the PT and ended up in the fist showing (we dont have midnight showings sadly) with a bunch of geeks like myself. A lot of them were even dressed in costumes and believe me, that's something i dont see here at all. 20th Fox fanfare and cheers... lucasfilm logo with everyone going quiet... a long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away... scroll starts and people go insane... Aahh memories :awesome:

As much as i love SW, i dunno what story they would tell with Luke after ROTJ that i'd love to watch. There's good EU material out there, but i dunno. In the end most of it comes back to a rehash of what we already saw.

Oh man, i really love that scene. I also love the asteroid chase. "Blast! this is why i hate flying!":hehe:. I love the sound of the seismic charges, because they go from silent to friggin' loud. That is such a fun scene.

The seismic charges were the best sound effects in the entire prequel trilogy.

Ok, this scene begs to be revisited now!

I also didn't have a problem with Jango Fett and Boba Fett's origin, for me the Expanded Universe is canon because it ties a lot of continuity errors found in the movies, it was able to tie the prequels and originals better and when George Lucas said that for him their story ended with episode VI it's kind of the same that is said in some arthurian and greek legens, the hero has the main story that supposedly ends right there but there are other legends that explain that some other things happened after that.

I remember as soon as those bombs went off the cinema shook. I loved that silence just before them, then boom.

That and the Geonosian arena are two of my favourite parts of that film. I don't know about anyone else, but I was on the edge of my seat when you see the Jedi in the crowds, especially some of the council.

There's one thing that, maybe people have spoken about it but I've never seen a discussion about it, that I love about Attack of the Clones and that is that is feels like one big mystery, detective movie in the Star Wars universe. Some of my favourite parts are Obi-Wan trying to find out about Jango and finding Kamino. I'd have loved to have seen more of that.

One day, I'll be able to say "This party's over!" in some sort of social atmosphere.

Funny this gets mentioned, I loved hearing it semi-all over again when I rode Star Tours. Boba flys at you and drops one of the bombs, but the ship shoots it back at him, and the blast explodes, sending him flying away. Its awesome.

I remember feeling the explosion in my stomach when i saw it at the movies lol. Yeah, the Geonosis arena fight was cool, and also the battle that takes place after with the clones and Separatists has some really nice sequences. I must admit, i died a little when Mace killed Jango though :csad:. Obi vs the big bug was funny though.

As far as Obi-Wan going all detective, that's also one of my favorite parts of AOTC.

I don't think we have anything like that in the U.K. :/ If we do, I don't think there's anything like that near where I live. That sounds pretty awesome. I'd love to go to something like that.

I remember it being something like that, though possibly more in the chest. :woot: I swear, if they release it in 2D with the 3D, I'll go just for that experience alone.

Yoda taking command during that battle was great. Especially when swooping in just before we see the big battle itself with the clones. That and the opening battle of Revenge of the Sith (especially the two ships side by side blasting each other to pieces) always put a big grin on my face ha ha. I had that with Qui-Gon, for the entire film I had this bad feeling. :/ I think I was only 11 then, and I couldn't watch it.

Did you play the Lego Star Wars games? The arena/monster fight (with cutscenes) is hilarious. In the third game there's an lot of ice-cream and ice lollies.

Probably why Attack of the Clones is my favourite. Great mystery, fun detective story. Get to see more of Coruscant, good ol' Dex, and it felt a bit creepy too.

:woot: That's it. I'm watching Attack of the Clones tonight!

I'll tell you something about AOTC though, that really disapointed me, ok, i sit there, and am once again disapointed in the storytelling aspects, like TPM, but y'know, like TPM, I guess this one will have a fantastic lightsabre battle at the end.

We got Darth Maul in TPM with the double bladed lightsabre, and what did we see a quick clip of in the AOTC trailer, that ended the trailer, as if to say, 'wait until you see this!', they show Anakin fighting with two lightsabres, one in each hand, and what do we get????!!!!!!! About , literally ten seconds of that, maybe not even that much, lol.
the whole sabre fight between Anakin , Obi-Wan and dooku was terrible, worst one in the trilogy, if it were not for seeing Yoda do his crazy backflipping moves, and getting a truly great battle with Dooku in the next movie, i think i would be one of those folk who still complain about the prequels ten years after they came out.

the Jango fight was truly fantastic though, Goerge really did make up for the lack of Fett in the final Jabba battle with that one.
annoyingly we had the headbutt cut from the uk dvd, i used to have it on the bootleg i bought back in 2002 though.

edit: sorry, id did not read the post above mine, just Bim's, i did not mean to rag on yoru fav SW movie there right after you saying that, just thought that two lightsabre tease was a bit too much.

No worries. :woot: I can understand why you'd be a bit disappointed by that. It's one of those trailer tricks, isn't it? You see that and think "awesome!", but the scene is shorter than they make it out to be.

I came up with a couple of ideas for some Star Wars video games:

STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT III

Summary: Uses the same engine as COD:MW, Battlefront 3 not only includes the battles of all six Star Wars films, but also battles seen in the EU (CW Animated Series, Force Unleashed, KOTOR, etc.), new planets (Korriban, Alderaan, Corulag, etc.) and new heroes and villains from the EU as well. Multiplayer is included in the game.

STAR WARS: THE FORCE UNLEASHED III

Summary: In the final chapter of the Force Unleashed saga, Starkiller will make his final stand against Darth Vader and the Dark Apprentice. In the game, Starkiller can switch from 1 or 2 lightsabers at any time. Multiplayer is also included, including DLC characters from the Star Wars film series and the Expanded Universe. P.S.: Id' like to see appearances from Thrawn, Jabba, Han and Chewie.

LEGO STAR WARS IV: THE EXPANDED UNIVERSE

Summary: Basically a LEGO-style adaptation of Knights of the Old Republic, The Force Unleashed and Shadows of the Empire

STAR WARS: THE COMPLETE SAGA

Summary: This video game covers all six episodes. The Jedi levels are Force Unleashed inspired. The shooter levels are Halo-inspired, with the ability to switch from third person to first person. The starfighter levels are Rogue Squadron inspired. Puzzle levels are included for droid characters (for example, trying to repair the hyperdrive on a spaceship or stopping the garbage mashers.)

What do you think?

No worries dude, and yeah, i must say based on the trailer i though we'd see Anakin using two lightsabers a bit longer than he did. Someone correct me if i'm wrong, but didnt that duel with Dooku/Obi-Wan/Anakin end up getting cut up a lot, but they had shot a lot more? That's what i heard, cant remember where though. I think a lot of fans felt the same way with the wookies in ROTS... when u saw the trailer u thought there would be a lot more, but there wasnt much besides what was shown. Trailers can be cruel sometimes.

OptimusPrime114: i'd actually play all of those :awesome:. I'm a bit traumatized when it comes to SW games though. I think it was with Rebel Assault II and there's a bit where u had to fly the Falcon through some caves... i kept crashing. I really sucked at flying it. Han made it look so easy :csad:. Took me forever to get through that part and when i did i was annoyed with myself and didnt continue playing it :hehe:

All I want now is Republic Commando 2 and Battlefront III. I don't really have faith any more that we'll ever get BFIII... not for a long time, anyway.

I would love to see a Battlefront III, but I'd much rather it use its own engine and not the Modern Warfare one. I never did like it. Just make it third person, make it look good and make it fun. :woot:

To be honest, at this point I'd be happy if they did a release of Battlefront I and II combined. I doubt they will even make Battlefront III, but they could at least throw the original two together with all maps. :/

Not a big fan of Force Unleashed, sadly. I loved the concept originally, the whole use the force to manipulate the world, but they didn't really seem to use it that much. :csad:

Love Lego games, love Lego Star Wars. : D Anything would be great!

If they did a full blown saga game I'd definitely have a look at it. Though I'd much sooner see the style they did for that old Phantom Menace game, or Mass Effect. Or even the Jedi Knight series. I loved Mos Espa, I think it was, in the Phantom Menace game, giving it a sort of RPG feel. I would love a full blown, Star Wars Saga RPG.

I would love to see a Star Wars game based on the original movie where you could play as Luke and Han Solo, with more than one story campaigns with the others based on early scripts of the movie and with many different ideas from those ones.

That's a good idea.

I'm also yearning for a Republic Commando 2.

I'm also interested in Shadows of the Empire, the story bridge between ESB and ROTJ. Seems like a good story.

A Shadows of the Empire remake with todays technology in video games would be great

Those videos are hilarious :funny: :funny: :funny:
