Yeah, it's pretty awesome. AOTC gets slammed a lot, but it has a lot of great action scenes. I dont think i've enjoyed a cinematic experience as much as i enjoyed watching SW, especially ROTS. I skipped work for all of the PT and ended up in the fist showing (we dont have midnight showings sadly) with a bunch of geeks like myself. A lot of them were even dressed in costumes and believe me, that's something i dont see here at all. 20th Fox fanfare and cheers... lucasfilm logo with everyone going quiet... a long time ago in a galaxy far, far, away... scroll starts and people go insane... Aahh memories![]()
Sounds like a great time Bim.
I've never seen anyone in costume whe I've been to see a Star Wars movie, but I've seen the stuff on TV where fans lined up over night for tickets for popular fanatasy and sci things, all dressed up in the costumes, dedicated lot lol. There's one thing that, maybe people have spoken about it but I've never seen a discussion about it, that I love about Attack of the Clones and that is that is feels like one big mystery, detective movie in the Star Wars universe. Some of my favourite parts are Obi-Wan trying to find out about Jango and finding Kamino. I'd have loved to have seen more of that.
This is why AOTC's is my favourite prequel, the attempted hit on Padme leading into the amazing airspeeder chase across Coruscant, the quick scene in the bar which is a nod to ANH. Then Obi Wan off to track down Jango and unravel the mystery and we see Palpatines plan to create the clone army and trick the senate into using it, which also gives us a great orgini for the Storm Troopers, plus the great Obi Wan/Jango battle both one on one and in their ships, and the awesome battle in the arena/Genosia to cap it all off.
One day, I'll be able to say "This party's over!" in some sort of social atmosphere.
If someone says "Welcome to the party" a bit earlier it will be like a Die Hard with a Vengeance reunion.

STAR WARS: THE COMPLETE SAGA
Summary: This video game covers all six episodes. The Jedi levels are Force Unleashed inspired. The shooter levels are Halo-inspired, with the ability to switch from third person to first person. The starfighter levels are Rogue Squadron inspired. Puzzle levels are included for droid characters (for example, trying to repair the hyperdrive on a spaceship or stopping the garbage mashers.)
What do you think?
I'd love a game that covered the saga with all that variety of gameplay, it reminds me a bit of the old Super Star Wars games on the SNES that covered the OT.
All I want now is Republic Commando 2 and Battlefront III. I don't really have faith any more that we'll ever get BFIII... not for a long time, anyway.
Was that Xbox game where you control a 4 man squad of Storm Troopers?

or a bad@ss female jedi, like Shaak Ti! yeah, i'll stop mumbling and say Shaak Ti
