She should be lit on fire, running screaming down a corridor, and then exploding. All in slow motion/

Or actually, I have a legit idea...

I havent seen the show, but what if the last episode takes place right before ROTS. (Not where the other CW series took place, but a little before that) and have her go off on some mission. She leaves blah blah...

And then they can cut back to hours later, and show her coming back to the Jedi temple...while Anakin is there. And well...maybe have a fight scene, and killer he off or something.

Could be tragic, and moving I guess.

Bim and I both have that one. The "face" isn't as well done as you'd expect. But that is my favorite young Obi-Wan statue to date.

It's definitely my favourite of the Obi's I've found.

I happen to like this one
koobiwane3.jpg

Is that from Kobiyuka?

Didnt see this post before and yeah, like Erz said i do have that one. In my opinion one of the best Obi-Wan statues out there alongside the animated Kenobi ones.

Is Obi attached to the plinth when it arrives? or do you have to clip him on?

Show the whole thing. :o

Bloody hell, the whole thing must be 25 inches long.

I liked Jango Fett and actually found his armor cooler than Boba's
Jango_Fett.jpg

BobaFettMain2.jpg

Their respective armours reflect the eras they lived in. Jango was in a time of relative prosperity and he lived with a technologically advanced race. Boba's is battle worn, reflecting the harder times since the Empire took over and the dark side ruled everything.

Cad-Bane.jpg

"the new villians suck!"

Cad Bane, right?

Yeah, I liked Cad Bane...solid new character

I also really love the whole Clone Trooper concept, in terms of how they look and the different types...as much as I crap on LUCAS that was utter genius..especially in light of how it would reflect with kids(and adults) on buying the toys and buying 10 of the same figure.

My only wish was we could have seen CLone troopers earlier.

Sorry for responding to this delay, but...

This would've been such a perfect look and attitude for Anakin Skywalker.

It would've nailed everything that was good about Vader, while displaying him as the hero of the people that we're led to believe he was.

Check this out too

Young Anakin - same hair, and more rounded features like Hemsworth

Chris Hemsworth (late 20s) - with Padme

And he even kind of looks like maskless Vader

Curse you and your suggestion! Since re-watching the Thor (and it's deleted scenes) this seems perfect! Don't know if he was acting back when they were casting Anakin, but now I wish this could happen! The way he played Thor with likable arrogance, his banter with Loki and his friends, not to mention chemistry with Natalie Portman, makes it seem ideal. Plus, Chris's height and build would seem a perfect transition into Darth Vader.

I think the love story in Attack of the Clones is weak, and it should be the main focus of the movie. The way the film reads to me, it's like Padme is, "I like you as a friend." "I like you as a friend." "I like you as a friend." "I am deeply totally in love with you."

This would be my suggestion for re-cutting the film to help in this area: From the deleted scenes, I would add to the balcony portion of the extended arrival at Naboo scene, in which Padme mentions that she thought she would have a family by now and mentions her sister's kids.

I would then had the scene of Padme visiting her family, from their arrival, to dinner, to the kitchen scene. Padme's reaction at the end of the kitchen scene alone helps convey Padme struggling through her own true feelings.

Then I would flip the order of scenes so the picnic comes before the stolen kiss at the lake. This seems to be more of a natural progression. Anakin has spent time traveling to Naboo with Padme, had dinner with her family, and had an enjoyable picnic. Everything seems to be going so well, so now Anakin has the nerve to try and kiss Padme. Padme, who now is fighting her emotions as well, gives in momentarily, until her rational side kicks in.

Then, I would use the IMAX cut of the fireplace scene. I don't remember it specifically (I saw it once and that was, what, nine years ago?!), but I remember it was slightly less cringe worthy.

Then the remaining scenes play out with Padme accompanying Anakin to Tatooine and being supportive in the garage scene. Then I think her love confession at the arena would seem much more natural rather than out of the blue.

thanks.

btw.....have they said how many seasons Clone Wars will last??

are we nearing the end ( this season seems to hint more at Anakin's darker side )?

actually at Celebration 5 they said they will keep making the show as long as people watch....also the seasons arent years....If I remember correctly season 2 started with a storyline that took place before season 1...I may have my seasons wrong

Any idea why this costs £800?

Agreed, I love this version of the Scout Clone Trooper.

It's 800 cause it's massive and with a vehicle. I think premium format figures are normally about 24'' tall and about 200 quid on their own.

Ah, the prequel haters.

Much more fun than the Blu-Ray-Changes haters.

You say "haters" like they are somehow wrong

I'm more bothered by Star Wars games nowadays tbh. There used to be a great range of games and some very good ones too. Haven't seen that in a while. KOTOR was amazing and now they've crapped on it for the monthly fees of an MMO.

I'm a teenager for 2 more days....:o

But no. I can be whiny, because i'm not a film character, I'm a human being. The only person who has to root for me...is well..me....

I But the problem with Anakin is, he's such a jackass...and you can't relate to him because he's a jackass. I dont know anyone who acts like he does....nor do I want to meet them.
OMG that explains it: you are Anakin! :hehe: :oldrazz:

Yes this is Kotobukiya.

I'm not exactly sure if Grievous or Obi-Wan comes with the extension piece. But yeah, I'm sure this is at least 12" high and 24" long.

I watched AOTS last night and noticed maybe it was my eyes or something but the look of the movie in hi-def had a slight glow to it around the characters in daylight shots. The night shots looked good and the saber effect and man did my surround sound get a work out during the space rock obi/jango chase and the clone wars battle at the end.

The last great Star Wars game I played was Lego Star Wars. I think with the failure of Force Unleashed 2 Lucasarts is rethinking its games. MMO's are where the money is at and fans have been begging for a good Star Wars MMO for a while.

I played the demo for Force Unleashed 2 and thought the controls were a little improved over the first. I liked that you actually severed limbs as well. The horrible reviews kept me from buying it though.
The main failings of the series in my opinion was that I never felt like I got to "unleash", despite the title. There was no grace in the moves, and too many medium power enemies that blocked your powers and left you on your ass. It's a shame because I liked the characters and the story of the first game.

I think it's a damn shame that there hasn't been a new generation sequel to either Battlefront or KOTOR. So much potential there.

Lucasarts doesnt want our money. I personally think if done right a battlefront 3 on the 360 and PS3 would out do the likes of call of duty in sales. I know the whole canceled gameplay on youtube and maybe since force unleashed 2 tanked so bad maybe it will force them to continue work on it. Do they not have the man power to work on a battlefront 3 or something?

The main problem I had with FU2 was it was too short

I liked the Unleashed games, and even though 2 was a bit of a letdown, I would like to see #3 and see them complete the story.

but, I would LOVE if Bioware made a new KOTOR game for the consoles (TOR doesn't count).....

just imagine.......a Star Wars RPG with Mass Effect graphics......it would be epic!!

I'm thinking of picking up the clone wars CGI movie, is it worth picking up?

pick up the series instead...they picked the worst story to show in theaters...the series is 100 parsecs better

while the series is better than the movie, the movie does give a good introduction to the series ( especially to Ahsoka's and Anakin's relationship ). It's certainly not necessary, but it's nice if you want to "complete" the Clone Wars collection.

I picked up the movie and watched it before watching the series, and I don't regret it.

so, if you can find it for a good price, I suggest picking it up.

Thanks, i appreciate it, Its only 3.99 round here so i'll probably pick it up.

Thanks Bim, same set up as the other Gentle Giant statues. Yeah finding the right spots to display them nicely is the key.

Thought so, not keen on their stuff as much as Sideshow and GG.

Man I'd need a room purely for displays to buy something like that.

Wow it is huge, so now I can excuse not buying it for two reasons. :funny:

I've been thinking of getting a Boba Fett model to stand on my desk, I crave this but at £260 I don't think I can justify it. :(

Arrived today, getting it for Christmas. :D

Hey Hunter, did you score an inheritance or win the lottery or did you get a high paying job? :o
