I really want them to make a new Battlefront game, one of the most fun games ever in my opinion.

I happen to like this one

Same. It's the game that got me into gaming, BF2 will always have a special place in my heart. I'd probably pre-order BF3 the day it's announced.

I'd really like to see the Original Trilogy get a next gen game series treatment or how about an all new video game series that focuses on the complete series .

I remember how much fun I had playing The Super Star Wars trilogy back in the day on my SNES .

I'm sick of playing next-Gen games that focus on the Old Republic, the Prequel Trilogy movies or the Clone wars. I want to play a next-Gen game that centred on the Original Trilogy.

That's nothing. I had this Star Wars game:

:oldrazz:

It was still better than the ET game.

Hey Hunter, did you score an inheritance or win the lottery or did you get a high paying job? :o

Lol, getting it as a gift.

We accept gifts, Hunter :oldrazz:

What would be your ultimate statue to get Bim?

I only owned ROTJ but I played them all, great games for their time.

I also liked the Indy game they did that covered the trilogy in one game.

I watched A New Hope last night, 3 things stood out for me.

1. I love the added Biggs scene.

2. I hate the added Jabba scene, the CGI is horrid and on top of that he isn't written like Jabba in ROTJ, none of his dialogue seems like Jabba.

3. It's interesting to note that the Imperial generals don't know The Emperor is a Sith, in fact they refer to Vader as a Jedi, and it seemed odd to me that at the end of ROTS Sidious talks about the Sith rising again, yet in the decades after him and Vader did not recruit and train more Sith warriors, instead using the clone army and a Nazi like army of humans to control the Galaxy.

There was a Battlefront 3 in development, but Lucasarts cancelled the game since the studio working on it closed down.

I swear, Lucasarts is one of the dumbest game publishers there is. Instead of making KOTOR 3, they make The Old Republic. Instead of making Battlefront 3, they make a sequel to freaking Force Unleashed, a concept in which personally, I always hated.

Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader for Gamecube is one of my favorite Star Wars games.

It's also one of the prettiest looking games from that generation.

About the blu ray:

On The Complete Saga set, I can't seem to find things that were on the original DVD's (prequel set that is) like finished deleted scenes, Ray /Ewan/Lian learning to do stunts, etc. Does this set leave off stuff from the older DVD's or am I over looking it?

Just watched ROTS tonight, definitely looks the best out of the prequel movies in HD.

I believe that none of them are because he wanted all the special features on the blu rays to be stuff we've never seen before

I played the hell out of those games. I'd love to see an updated rendition.

Yes , the blu rays have a lot of different features and some of the deleted scenes ( Yoda goes to dagobah -ROTS) are missing.

I loved watching Grievous vs Obi Wan , that looked amazing .

They just got old and lazy until Luke came along.

I never took Palpatine's words as a sign that they wanted to train new Sith warriors, which he could potentially have done even before his rise to power.

Rather, he simply means that through him and Vader, the Sith now rule the galaxy.

Actually I don't remember him saying anything close to "the Sith will rise again".

Yep, agreed. I also really liked the first game on N64, and a few of the missions from Rebel Strike, the third installment (the attack on the Executor is always a thrill).

I also have a soft spot for Bounty Hunter, which was poorly executed but gave me the opportunity to play as Jango Fett, one of my favourite characters.

Other than that, Battlefront is of course a reference, and I don't mind the two Force Unleashed games if you can forget how short they are and how inconsistent their scripts are compared to the movies.

_ _ _ _ _ _

I also gave in and ordered my Blu-Rays, which I should receive today or tomorrow at the latest. The only reason I did it is because of all the extra features, I'm a sucker for those, and I can't wait to watch all those OT deleted scenes.

That was a great game...one of my all-time favorites.

Shame the followup was such a letdown.

Youtube my friend.

Aye, I played a couple of those snes sw ganes, I think just anh and esb, can't recall playing the jedi one, but I might've.
Rogue squadron as well, I played all of those for the N64 and Gamecube, the only thing I thought was crappy about the last one was the on foot levels.

Surprised no-one has mentioned Pod-racer for the N64, that was superb, my nephew had one of those steering wheel attachments which was perfect for that game(crap for others like Mario kart), i used to put it on FP angle and just blast through some of those levels at crazy speeds, there was one called grabvine gateway(i think), that you could basically pretend you were on a speeder bike for in the FP angle mode, as you were speeding through forests and foilage.

Also loved playing the multi-player in Jedi Outcast II, my nephew and I used to have a lot of fun having lightsaber battles against each other.
