On the Maul/Mando arc. We still don't know when it takes place. Maul is in the first episode, but then the Onderon arc is apparently right after. Basically all we seem to know is it is four episodes. It very well could be the season finale.

That should be a good episode. It'll be interesting to see what brings Ventress to track Ahsoka.

She's in a really interesting place this coming season as she has no affiliations at all. I'm interested to find out where she got the armor from as well.

Yeah, I can't wait. Do we know how long that episode arc will be yet?

Like Darthy said, it's hard to tell if it's all one arc or two split over the season, but no arc so far has lasted more than 4 eps.

I wonder when his episodes/arc starts? Filoni said that he's going to be a big part of this season, so I can't wait to see what they do with him.

I think it will be a fairly early arc as Fives story will provide a change of pace and perspective after the Jedi/Sith/Mando arc.

Oh yeah, it's still a great sequence though. The whole Jaba scenes have a lot of great scenes.

I agree, their was no way they'd bring Maul back just to off him again quickly. The episodes he was in from last season were great, and his arc this season looks like it'll be even better.

Yeah, I like how Maul's goals seem to have evolved beyond simply killing Obi-Wan.

Yeah, they were going to take their time with killing him again. I still hope it's Sidious who does it t:

I can't decide if I want his creator to put him down or Obi-Wan to finish what he started.

Well the first episode is a one off I believe. The Mando arc comes later. This season is as arc heavy as last season, if not even more.

Apparently it was confirmed at CVI that the droid/Commando arc is four episodes. The Mando/Maul arc plot has apparently been leaked and it is four episodes. The Clovis arc is apparently at least 3 episodes as is the Onderon and Jedi Temple attack arc. That seems to cover close to a typical 22 episodes.

And if they show the young Jedi episodes, it is four as well.

Either Sidious or Obi-Wan, it's got to be one of them. I can't wait to see the episode where Sidious duels Maul, and Savage. It'll be awesome.

Awesome! I still really love how the helmets look, and harken back to the Mando heritage for the 1st gen Clone armor. Especially the Arc Troopers with their added helmet antenna, and extra gear.

I think if they kept Maul just wanting to kill Obi, and he wanted nothing else would have been bad for his character. I mean he still wants to kill Obi-Wan, but he's got other plans now as well.

To be honest, though, the one I want to read the most is Plagueis. But that's not coming out till late September, I think.

Plagueis was the one I liked better, at least in terms of how it got into the mind the Sith lords and how it fitted in with the films.


Though Revan had a lot of strong character work that I really appreciated.

Nice, I'll make sure I've finished Revan before it comes out. Is Palpatine so well written that you can somewhat hear McDiarmid's voice whenever the character speaks? And do we EVER learn his first name?

At times, definitely. But he is so young at the start that it does seem very weird.

And in regards to his first name...it's the strangest thing, they reveal his parents and siblings names but we don't ever find out his first name.

Únlike most here i actually thought during that time Maul would have gained some sence and instead of trying to go back to sidious and get his revenge on Obi-Wan and instead that he would no longer follow the Sith ways.

Indeed, i'm fine with either one. What i dont want to see is Ahsoka or Anakin do it.

Lord: i would think Maul would rather be the master and not the apprentice, or at least that's what i hoped/expected. He must have some resentment towards Sids.... enough to want him out of the way imo. I do wonder what his reaction to Sidious will be, but i get the feeling he'll just want to kill him off. Yeah, the Embo clip. I like that they've brought Embo back, he's a pretty cool bounty hunter.

Starting at 1:08 you see bounty hunters Sugi, and Dengar shooting at Maul, and Savage. That's what I was talking about, and where I wanted to know where it was at.
