Star Wars - - Part 11

Yeah, the Embo clip. I like that they've brought Embo back, he's a pretty cool bounty hunter.

My bad, not Suir, but Sugi I think it's spelt. It was the first season 5 trialer, here at SW.com:http://www.starwars.com/watch/tcw_season5_trailer.html

Starting at 1:08 you see bounty hunters Sugi, and Dengar shooting at Maul, and Savage. That's what I was talking about, and where I wanted to know where it was at.

I think the Sugi part is from the premiere and it could have something to do with [BLACKOUT]Hondo[/BLACKOUT] being there. That or it is a part of the first episode of the Mando arc. Maul seems to have his new legs in those shots and I am not sure when he gets them. You see Obi-Wan fighting him on a planet similar to the one that Maul fights the bounty hunters, but he has the chicken legs.

Well you mentioned what kind of threw me off, and that's Maul's new legs. When he first shows up this season doesn't he have his old legs still? I thought he got his new legs a little later on, but I guess we'll see.

Still I'm super excited for the start of the new season though. Except that now it's Saturday mornings at 9:30 is it? Man, I hope they put the full episodes up on SW.com.

Actually just rewatched the whole trailer and I now I think it is from the first Mando episode. Maul has his new legs and wearing his black suit that he is wearing with Vizsla. You see Vizsla fighting with the darksaber in a similar place. Also you see him walking with Vizsla early in the second trailer in a similar situation.

These Clones look awesome!:

I don't know what episode they're from though.

They look great indeed, Fives :woot:

I'm convinced that Palpatine had his hands on the life on Anakin even as a child.
I dont know if Palpatine did, but i'm thinking Plagueis might have been involved somehow...

They're from the "Landing at Point Rain" episode from early season 2. Might still be the single best CW episode, IMO.

Definitely. I can never get anyone to agree with me on Plagueis being involved with Anakin!

So did anyone else hear about this news station in Florida that ran a slideshow of fans at Celebration VI along with obnoxious comments? That is not cool.

http://www.wired.com/geekmom/2012/09/cyber-bullying-towards-star-wars-fans-not-cool/

They took the slideshow down, but last I heard, the station was refusing to actually apologize for it. :whatever:
Tsss idiots :whatever:

I'll forever agree with u. I havent read the Plagueis novel yet, but it's nice to read there's a hint of this. It's on my reading list, but i just cant get to it lol

The idea that the Sith had anything to do with Anakin's creation flies in the face of the entire idea of the Chosen One as a whole. Anakin is Jesus by the way of the Force. There is a reason they dropped any hint otherwise, as it it doesn't really work in context on the films.

Well the idea pitched forward in the Plagueis novel wasn't so much that they created Anakin but rather through their actions the Force created a being to oppose them.

Either Sidious or Obi-Wan, it's got to be one of them. I can't wait to see the episode where Sidious duels Maul, and Savage. It'll be awesome.

I am sensing a potential future diorama from Sideshow. :D

Awesome! I still really love how the helmets look, and harken back to the Mando heritage for the 1st gen Clone armor. Especially the Arc Troopers with their added helmet antenna, and extra gear.

Me too, that progression throughout the saga is great.

Yeah the armor has me interested as well.

I wonder if she fashioned it herself or if she has a new ally we don't know about.

I can't wait for Fives story. I'm real excited to see the Clone arcs, and the Mando/Maul arcs this season. Don't we see the bounty hunters fighting Maul, and Anakin, and company? I wonder where that fits in? Plus still hoping Boba will show up somewhere.

Yeah Sugi and Embo are definitely battling Maul and Oppress in one of the clips from the first trailer, which probably means they survive the first arc with the Mando's.

Yeah, it's a great scene. I wonder who took over after Jabba's bad day lol.

Lol, Hondo waiting in the wings! :D

Heh, I know, I'd like to see both happen, but I don't know which would be better. Both battles are going to be big for sure though.

I imagine the creative team have really thrown everything into the Sidious vs Maul/Oppress duel as this is the first time they have put him into action.

Indeed, i'm fine with either one. What i dont want to see is Ahsoka or Anakin do it.

I wouldn't mind if it was Anakin as he'll have now killed both of Sidious' apprentices, but my money is on Sidious himself fullfilling the "There can be only 2" mantra, although Dooku wont realize that the other Palps is thinking of is Anakin, not him.

Have u read the ROTS novelization yet? Bet you havent :argh:. One of my favorite moments in the book is when Dooku realizes what Palpatine's game was, and he was too late in this realization and could do nothing about it lol.

It's on my "To do" list I swear! :O :D Yeah there's just a hint of that with Dooku's facial expression when Palpatine gives Anaking the order to execute him.

Really great book. Gives lots of insight into the characters themeselves and their thoughts. Also, it fearures early versions of some scenes, and a very different Palpatine vs Windu scene. Cant recommend it enough. The audio book is great too.

Cool pic.

Yeah, I've heard some of the movie scenes are kind of better because they're given more context or expanded upon I guess. I'd like to read the novelizations of each prequel movie. I'll get to it sometime lol.

Attack of the Clones is pretty much the same as the movie. TPM isnt much different either if I remember correctly. ROTS is a whole other experience from the movie. So much added material and so many differences. For example, the battle of kashyyk wasnt in the draft the novelization was based on and it isnt featured in the novel. The battle of mustafar is a whole other beast from the movie as well. Its got a lot of dialogue and thoughts from obi-wan and you get to read what he is thinking and how he is outwitting anikan. He even uses the force to manipulate the gears and servos in anakins mechanical arm to gain the upper hand at one point. Throughout the novel you also get inside the mind of anakin and read his thoughts and it paints a very clear picture of his mental breakdown and where he started to come unhinged. I rank ROTS the movie third of the saga but if the movie had been more like the novel it would be my favorite. That is how good the novel is imo.

The bolded part sounds great! Sounds like it's got some great insight into Obi's, and Anakin's inner thoughts, and what they were going through.

Indeed! Havent heard the audiobook though.

I think the ROTS novel is the best one for sure.

That's a trade up, Erz. I'll have both though, i just cant part with my SW stuff once i have them.

Finally got mine today! It looks good now it's up, the Luke sculpt is superb, but assembling the base made me feel like I'd bought the worlds most expensive model kit, so irritatingly fragile, I broke the end off one of the banisters.
