It's Darth Malak ^

It's like Lucas thinks no-one will remember how bad TPM is.

not everyone hated this movie

this movie comes out the weekend I graduate from film school...its like a graduation present from George Lucas

So I'm watching AotC right now, it's been quite a while since last time, and I'm noticing a lot of flaws that this movie has, for example a lot of bad acting that wasn't as obvious to me before. But one thing I found strange was that ANakin had such remorse over killing the sand people, yet he has absolutely no problem cutting apart un-armed geonosians later on in the film.

I really need a Dooku with a lightsaber bust to be released. :o

I'm watching the new episode of TCW.

I can't wait for the return of Darth Maul!!!

You know what Darth Maul should say, if he confronts Obi-Wan again?

"I've been waiting for you, Obi-Wan. We meet again at last." As a reference to Episode 4. Because they always make references to the movies on the show.

saw the trailer for tpm 3d release with tintin last night
i got chills seeing the part where darth maul activates his duel bladed lightsabre on the big screen again :D

I want that Maul bust, splendid collection.

That Maul bust is pretty damn spectacular. The Revan one I also really like.

Anyone see the conclusion to the slaver arc last night? I really enjoyed this arc! But it looks like Obi-Wan didn't!

Preview for the rest of the season of the Clone Wars.

Mace saving Palps from a kidnap!

A spectacular looking battle between Anakin and Cad Bane!

Mandalorian's! featuring Ahsokah vs Pre Vizsla who has the black lightsaber!

The return of Embo! :D

Who is the character that says "You have seen nothing yet!"?

Hunter you should take a pic of your collection by the end of this year or something.

It'll be.....

:p

:funny: It's amazing how much space you can eek out with enough manouvering!

I just picked up a little gem from Hallmark....the SW Slave-1 Ornament. And they were 40% off! It even has sound. :)

Nice one.

I thought it was a very good ep, it covered a lot for the main characters and the big action at the end was great, I especially loved the Wolfpack saving Ahsoka's people.

Do you think that, after Obi-Wan went through as a slave, he may understand why Anakin is the way he is?

Wait, what? Obi-Wan was a slave??

Was this in CW last night? Now I gotta catch up because this intrigues me.

Possibly, but I think both handled it differently. Obi-Wan felt despair, because he could not help those around him, and worse any attempt would lead to others suffering. Again, it is more of a selfless thing. Anakin feels mainly anger and rage concerning his slavery.

And notice,
Obi-Wan did not kill the main overseer.

Yep! After the relatively drop off of Season 3 compared to Seasons 1 & 2, Season 4 has been really strong!

Anakin went into a sand people village and killed everyone...men, women and children...combatants and non combatants...

When Anakin is killing Genosians it is in keeping with his jedi training...he is killing those who are trying to kill him.

So you're saying that it is part of jedi training to cut down an unarmed enemy? Why not just knock them out cold? It just seems wrong to me that keepers of the peace would do something like that.

You know what would be cool?

If LEGO decided to release a line of building sets centered around the Expanded Universe, like Knights of the Old Republic, New Jedi Order, etc.

who was unarmed...they were shooting at him with weapons

He had no remorse over killing the sand people, but over the reasons why he killed them. He didn't care for one bit about the sand people, he just wishes he hadn't killed them to avenge his mother's death because he knew it wouldn't bring her back and it was a heinous crime, something a "good Jedi" would stay away from.

So in the end, Anakin only cried because he realized he wasn't as good a Jedi as he thought he was ("I'm better than this").

No. I'm talking about the very first ones that they encounter before entering the factory. Sure, they charge at them but they are still only half their size.

Well that is pretty much what I was trying to say, not that he cared for them but he knew that what he did was wrong and was angry/sorry about it.
