Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

I'm very excited for the game.I loved the first one and what has me the most excited is Yoda's involvement.

Yea, I loved the first one also, so I'm quite excited for this one.

First Look (GameSpot.com)

Our demo included a decent handful of entirely new gameplay sequences. It began with Starkiller in a freefall, tumbling from a giant tower as if he were BASE jumping. There were numerous ledges jutting out from the tower that Starkiller had to demolish during that freefall.

There were also new Force powers like the mind trick, which has enemies fighting alongside you or turning manic and jumping off ledges depending on the scenario.

We're also told that players will be able to pilot the TIE fighter that Starkiller steals from Vader during the introductory moments, which is something we're eager to see in action.

If I understand correctly, he's training with Proxy like droids at Kamino and Vader mentions that his mission is to go to Cato Neimoidia and kill General Kota (who is being held captive there). That's when he escapes. He also has the flashes of memories ProjectPat mentioned and he thinks Kota will be able to help him.

I'm really interested in the part where we'll get to fly a TIE Fighter, as mentioned in the GameSpot preview. I can't wait to find out more at E3.

Yea that should be pretty damn cool.

I hope there are more saber to saber battles this time around, altho the last game gave us a fair amount. It should look really bad ass with Marek using the two sabers, like that brief scene in Episode II where Anakin picked up two sabers.

:awesome:I liked the first The Force Unleashed because of the story.
Thanks to the screens this game looks interesting.

The Tie Fighter part should be interesting. This is already looking like an improvement over the first one gameplay wise.Story wise we'll have to wait and see.

Yea the story is what im most interested in. I thought TFU had a fantastic story, one of my favorites in a Star Wars yet.

Same here. I really would like to see it becoming a movie.
Have they ever talked anything about it?

I hope this game gives us the option to use different lightsaber styles besides the duel-wielding like single-wielding & double-bladed saber.... Or even due-wielding double bladed sabers. 0.0

I hope the story is good, but I feel like it probably won't be as directly tied to the films as the first one was.

By the way, does the clone have Starkiller's memories?

I HATED the first game. One of the most laughably broken games released this gen. I'm really glad to see LucasArts is actually trying to fix things this time around. I want a game that's at least 12 hours long.

Check out Unleashed2010.com for a more interesting update this time.

In the sequel, Starkiller returns with over-the-top Force powers and embarks on a journey to discover his own identity and to reunite with his one true love, Juno Eclipse. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II, Starkiller is once again the pawn of Darth Vader-but instead of training his protegee as a ruthless assassin, the Dark Lord is attempting to clone his former apprentice in an attempt to create the Ultimate Sith Warrior. The chase is on - Starkiller is in pursuit of Juno and Darth Vader is hunting for Starkiller.

With all-new devastating Force powers and the ability to dual-wield lightsaber, Starkiller cuts a swatch through deadly new enemies across exciting worlds from the Star Wars films - all in his desperate search for answers to his past.

· Continue the galaxy-altering journey of Starkiller, Darth Vader's fugitive apprentice, that shapes the key events between Star Wars: Episode III and Episode IV

· Unleash the Force with more power and precision through improved controls and new powers, such as the deceptive Mind Trick, which turns enemies against their allies.

· Discover the true power of Starkiller with Force Fury, where his attacks and Force powers are exponentially increased.

· Improved targeting system enhances the precision use of Force powers and greater interaction with puzzles and the environment.

· Take combat to the next level with the ability to wield dual lightsabers and punish enemies with all-new combo attacks.

· Experience the most life-like interactions with Pixelux Entertainment's Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) couple with Euphoria from Natural Motion Ltd and the powerful Havok Physics system.

· Expanded customization options such as new costumes and power-enhancing lightsaber crystals.

· Fight through all-new challenge levels designed to test and hone your fighting and Force power skills.

· Skillfully manage your combat techniques to defeat a variety of brand-new enemies, whcih will culminate in epic boss battles.

· Immerse yourself once again in the story that was honored with awards from the Writer's Guild of America and the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences.

· Challenge your friends to a 4-player Force Showdown on Wi in chaotic fighting game-style combat.

Click on the tabs inside the clone tank to hear an audio recording and watch videos of Starkillers memories. The info tab only mentions multiplayer for the Wii. I really hope they have something for the 360 and PS3 versions as well. Hopefully we'll find out at E3.

I really cant wait for this game!! Force Unleashed is still one of the games I re-play most on my 360.

Looks like the site is in 3d anamorphic format. You can see red and blue auras around the stuff. I tried it with a pair of red and blue glasses and it sticks out.

I liked the first one, but it didn't have a lot of replay value for me. I hoping the second one will have lightsaber multiplayer action. :awesome:

I'm still 50/50 on buying this. As long as we have a more epic ending than we had in the first game.

And not saying the first game didn't have a very epic ending, but it quickly become null once I learned that there would be a sequel. The ending doesn't have that "satisfaction mark" it once had when it looked like just a one-time deal kind of game. With it being a sequel, it just feels like, "okay, yay, the rebellion is together, but now there's no suspense for us to watch episode IV right immediately after now...now we need to see what the sequel game has".
