Star Wars: The Force Unleashed II

Brainiac brought him back. Oh wrong universe

This is good news and going on my Video game wishlist for next year without a doubt.

God that trailer was so awesome.

Screw Unleashed! How long do we have to wait until they finally make Battlefront 3?

I wonder if they are gonna give us some customizations options with Starkiller. I really want them to go to some new areas with this game that a Starwars game has never really went and thats Sandbox.

The universe is a big place. I don't expect to see fully, explorable areas, unless it's an MMO.

As much as I am bummed that it wasn't Battlefront 3.... I'm still excited for TFU2... the trailer sold me :o

I just personally prefer to go to war with an Army of Stormtroopers.

AC2 breaks down the sandbox into 4 different sandbox levels this should be due able for the Lucas Arts team. The other example is in the legendary footage from the failed Battlefront 3 where there was a scene that a player moved freely from planet side through a building of some sort to space side with little to no loading. So i really think its quite possible for TFU2 to take that route. How cool would that be to have a Star Wars game in a sandbox.

We already know from trailer already that StarKiller on the fence with what side of the force he wants to belong to. This can be an opportunity for player to do a variety of missions for either jedi or sith themed. Come on who doesn't want to hang with Jabba while he gives you some bounty hunter missions? Or do missions on Coruscant? They can limit the planets and keep the missions to the biggest cities on a particular planet.Just giving us the players free roam to do as we please.

I'm guessing you're one of those that saw either one or none of the Clone Wars episodes and yet you hate it. Am I right?

Wrong. I do watch it frequently, hoping it gets better. There's a couple episodes that were cool like Rookies or the Assaj Ventress vs Luminara one.

Problem is the series are so kid friendly that we've lost all that made Star Wars cool in the first place. Not to mention the further bastardization of both canon and previously cool characters like Grievous.

I liked the cartoons. They were still on Cartoon Network and kid friendly yet they managed to actually have some style and quality to them.

The CGI series, tho, is just a pure crapfest as shallow as you can get within the theme of War. Ahsoka is one of the worst characters ever created in the universe of Star Wars. She's annoying and, since she's such a main character, she abides by the rule that all the main characters are godlike and always win at the end. It's so repetitive and pointless that I always know how an episode will end as soon as they announce Anakin or Ahsoka are on the case. She's a godamn Padawan fgs.

CGI Clone Wars has cool animation, yes. But it will still be a collection of bad ****** humor and lost opportunities to make something cool.

To be honest, I got bored with the repetitive gameplay about two levels into TFU. That said, the trailer looked pretty cool. Still...an amnesia plot? Something tells me that's just an excuse for them to recycle the plot :(

It kind of annoys me that Lucas Arts can't have at least one Star Wars game out every year. I mean, freaking Guitar Hero has like a game out every 2 months, and they all play exactly the same. The Star Wars game franchise is actually a multitude of sub-franchises that all play remarkably different from each other, because Star Wars is versatile enough to encompass so many genres. I see no reason why rotating franchises every year wouldn't work out well.

On the other hand, maybe if Free Radical hadn't had the rug pulled out from under them, Battlefront 3 would have come out this year, and we wouldn't have had a year gap just to get another Force Unleashed game. I hope that Lucas Arts really gets their act together, because while I think The Force Unleashed is a great game, there's plenty more to the Star Wars Universe that I'm eager to experience and re-experience other than tearing stuff up as a Jedi. Battlefront, X-Wing, Republic Commando (perhaps "Imperial Commando" or "Rebel Commando" for the sequel?), Knights of the Old Republic (or just plain any single-player Star Wars RPG, for that matter), and so many other possibilities exist. Show us the goods, Lucas Arts! Especially that new X-Wing game I mentioned! That joystick I bought for HAWX is getting lonely.

Oh man, a sequel to Repblic Commando would be great too. I loved that game and the unit.

I hope they've made some good improvements. The aiming and camera were all wonky in the first game. Annoyed the hell out of me.

Not surprising.
It makes sense to concentrate on the best selling game than the actual best ones.

But seeing as at most they can put out a sequel to a game every 2 years, doesn't it make sense to have another franchise for the in between years? If Lucas Arts really wanted to milk the franchise they'd be putting out multiple titles a year, but instead they are only putting out one every two years. That's pretty darned slow considering how popular Star Wars games usually are (and how reputable the franchise is with gamers).

if they do make a BF3 they better make some huge changes to make it different because if it's too much like BF2 than it will get old and boring.
