If you want to get into the story I will. Honestly, perhaps the worst EU story I have seen presented since the start of the new trilogy. An attempt to place a character in canon who is on par with Vader and Luke is laughable, as is how utterly bland and unlikable the character is. The view of the force in the game contradicts what is presented in the films. And well the love story.
The first game suffered from three basic problem. Granted there were plenty of problems, but there were three that emphasized why it only got attention because it is Star Wars.
1. The lightsaber doesn't work like a lightsaber.
2. The difficultly of the game had nothing to do with the game play and everything to do with how much damage an enemy can take and the inability to lock on with ease. Little skill or strategy in how you fight an enemy because no matter their size or weapons, the same strategy applied and thus you could spam attacks. Lighting and the saber toss could get everything done.
3. Bad level/puzzle designs.
For TFUII lots of talk about how they fixed these problems and then the videos are released and it looks like the same game with another saber and prettier graphics. Limbs fall off, but the enemies are still damage sponges. You can still spam. What is the point of having combos end different if it means nothing to the game, when all you need are three techniques to beat the game on its hardest difficulty?
