State Your Opinion on A Character - Part 1

My favorite rogue in Batman's Gallery. I wish people wrote him smarter. I like ending a Riddler arc totally confused. Then I go back and read it three more times. Love the Riddler.

:batman: :batman: :batman:

I loves the Riddler especially in the animated series where he was like a supervillain version of Niles Crane

He was :awesome:

I like the Riddler but I think he's severely underused. I liked what Paul Dini did with the character during his Detective run and I totally want to see more of the version Brian Azzarello wrote in the JOKER graphic novel. And I anxiously look forward to whatever Scott Snyder may do with the character if he uses him at all. The Riddler has the potential to be a huge villain for Batman. They just gotta use him more.

Alright, experiments over. Clearly this community of comic nerds hasn't come far enough from their petty brand racism to understand the awesomeness of the WildC.A.T.S. :o

Shame on you. :argh:

I am Disappoint. :o

i use to be like damn what a sorry ass character! who would announce their plans!? but looking at all these serial killers crap and stuff. it's right on target you always get these kinda people who think they are smarter than you and i can taunt your ass cause i'm sooooooo much smarter, but whats funny is they aint! its that whole human nature of narcissism which ultimately dooms him. which makes him such a human and real character and why he freakin rocks ! never ever think you are better cause there is always someone who-else whos's better! like bats!

But that's complete bulls**t. Image/Wildstorm doesn't and didn't suck. I'm just tellin' you man. You're missing out.

and that might be true but they started out wrong. they went after the dough! which is why i dropped their ass like a bad habit! you gotta come after me like we are going to change the world not like variant covers and i want money! I am outta there!

Then why are you reading DC or Marvel? They were the bigger perpetrators of such gimmicky boos**t, and still are.

i agree Totally!but marvel and Dc started off like they cared,( thats why i like the early books better) image/wildstorm was like "we aint your daddy's comics",but they were just the same! just with better art! *^%$ that!they might have gotten better but by then readers like me were gone!

Pfft. Riddler? Everyone knows he's just a watered down version of The Joker. :o

:p

I really like the Riddler, but usually only in a certain type of story and characterization, like "Riddler's Reform" from TAS. Guy had the kind of style and subtlety with his riddles where you sometimes didn't know that he was even giving you the clues to his crimes (like flipping over the blackboard in that episode of the show).

Also, give me the stylish dude in a green suit and tie and slicked back hair over the loud, raving maniac dressed in spandex any day.

This.

I love the Riddler from the animated series. Classy genius criminal. I was really hoping he'd be in this third Nolan movie, but alas.

Jim Carrey as the Riddler was terrible (as was that whole movie). But where the movie's went most wrong villain wise was mr freeze. In a decent Batman movie Freeze would've been a dramatic character and would've been played by Patrick Stewart :)

Tremendous potential, this character has. Just imagine the T.V. series "Riddler INC., Security Consultants" with the riddler going all dr house/the mentalist on the conmpanies that hire him.

he was also a badass on HUSH and BTAS...

One of these days I'm going to see Riddler on a pimping documentary on HBO. You can't wear a green suit and not be a pimp. That's the rule.

Dang, I missed the Spartan round. Stupid Thanksgiving. :argh:

The Riddler's cool.

Doesn't matter. The awesomeness of Hadrian is wasted on these Philistines. :o

That's it for the Riddler.

Riddle me this Batman! What is six inches long, two inches wide, has a head on it, and women are crazy for it?

Money!!!

Mr. Freeze

I enjoy the good Mr. Freeze in the comics and cartoon and the hilariously bad Mr. Freeze of Batman and Robin infamy.

It took the camp tv show to realize "Mr. Zero" sucked as a name.

He works best as a tragic figure, particularlybecause Captain Cold fills the Ice villain niche and Killer Frost aced the nutty Ice villian role.

The Riddler rocks. My second favorite Batman villain

Mr. Freeze is ok. I haven't read too many stories with him, so I'm mostly familiar with the animated version....and Arnold.

That's an 'ice' pun Spoons :awesome:

Batman and Robin is probably one of the funniest movies ever made

I loves Victor, especially in the animated series
