My opinion/s on this is based solely on the films & not the comics. Good, enjoyable, first movie that sort of lost me after parts 2 & 3, nevertheless a mild cure for boredom.

Yeah, I read these back when the sequels were coming out and nobody knew how disappointing they were going to be yet.
Much like The Animatrix shorts, a few of them were pretty cool, a few were downright awful, but most of them were seriously boring.

Not even the first one? It's showing it's age a little but I still love that movie. Amazing effects... you really believed Keanu Reeves was a real person.

Really good vampire film, never read any of the comics though.

Yeah, I really like the movie too.

The first book is pretty much the best horror comic I've ever read.
The second is okay but the shift from horror to action didn't work.
The third went back to basics and rounded the story off reasonably well.

Pretty much.

30 Days of Night was a comic first though.

The first 30 Days of Night book is a really great self contained story. After that it kind of fell apart and the following volumes become a bit of a mess.

And the Irony in that is, it started out as a rejected screenplay, that got turned into a comic, which was later made into a film.
