ANGEL/WARREN WORTHINGTON THE THIRD

The Collector? I guess he's a good gimmick cosmic being/threat, but I really have never enjoyed most of his appearances. Frankly... He seems like a a cosmically empowered Batman villain sometimes.

I sort of agree with Anubis, the "Elders" are not a particularly well defined group of beings in the Marvel U., or if they are, I've yet to see read the story that does so.

As Warren? Honestly... I can take him or leave him. I guess there is more there to get into these days than at any other time in the character's history, but... Yeah, I really have never been able to must to much enthusiasm for Angel, even when he was all Archangel-ed up, or as a mutant poster boy in X3. I think there is great potential there for sure and he's got connections to a wide variety of characters up the yin-yang. As of now though... Meh.

I've always disliked Angel. Ive never read a story where I liked him. I'm not counting Archangel, who I can can give or take. Regular Angel is so boring to me, I want to stab myself.

I'm a big fan of Angel. I like him much more than Archangel, even the most recent version under Remender's writing.

Warren's cool. I'm not sure where he's at right now. Last I remember he was still unaware of his past life.

i dig Angel. before MARVEL got their &* together and made guys like nightcrawler. All those dudes who were suppose to be mutants looked like they could be GQ models!Angel was the only one with a outward mutation that us humans would hate!( and dont give me cyke! all that dude needed is a pair of sunglasses!) dude would have to strap those wings down trying to pass!you know he wasnt happy about it.There's still more they could do with him (and i freakin loved Arch-A!) but i like him..plus he was a champion and i dig the champions!

Pretty lame character. His power is flying, only flying, which half superheroes can do plus while he does it he has 2 huge vulnerable wings sticking out.
Got better as Archangel. Nowadays he's even worse than original with the lame amnesiac crap.

His healing factor is something new?
I like that moment in Chuck Austin's run (please don't hate me for that) when he healed children with his blood, cause somehow he had matching blood type with all the children.

He's okay. I dug the Exiles version of him where he stayed the Avenging Angel and had become a hard boiled vigilante with guns and wings and s**t. Otherwise, eh.

huh? what the.... heal kids with his blood!?!Man! talk about using the literal interpretation of his superhero name! Man! i was cool when nightcrawler went all religious. its added a bit of irony to him being the way people looked at him, but I'm kinda glad i didnt read that storyline!geez!

:hehe:
It was either him or Wolverine, cause both had healing factors, and Wolverine was unfit for the role.

I like Angel and consider him as one of the main X-Men although he's near the bottom of that core group, as there are just too many other good characters.

I'm apparently one of the few who liked Warren before he got all "Apocafied". He had a key role in the original X-Team. But he didn't really become a GREAT character until he became Archangel.

Bamf-ometer Score: 8 out of 10

I like Archangel alot. This **** with his amnesia I simply couldn't care less. His back story was/is convoluted enough without adding that angle to everything.

Yeah, I agree. It doesn't matter what his power is. He's cool because he's a mutant that doesn't look just like us. Plus, his wings did look cool.

One of the few things X-Men: The Last Stand did right was the scene with kid Angel trying to scrape off his wings to hide who he was.

I like The Angel, one of the core, original, X-Men, never had anything against the character. BTW Wolf, self mutilation, is never the answer or option. :o

Oh, if we can go by any alternate version of Angel, Mutant X was the only time I liked him.

D'spayre? I vaguely remember him being used during David's Hulk run, I think. I aint even sure of that. Can't really remember him in anything else.

I will say this has brought to attention how David seems to like to use the very strange mystical and cosmic odd balls of the MU in his work.

I remember him in Claremont's run of Uncanny, shortly after Jean's death cyclops just ****ed off and went sailing with some hot blonde but got stranded on an island and kept getting mind****ed by this guy and he teamed up with Man-Thing to take him down =D. That was my introduction to Man-Thing one of my favorite characters ever so I have thank D'spayre for that, and he was prety cool mind****ing Cyke and all
