Lorna's cool! though she never ever did jack crap1 ( i did like the magneto's daughter thing though!) it's mostly due to i had a thing for her since i was a kid( dont act like i am the only one it's part of reading comics!:cwink:) i think it has something to do with the green outfit and the hair! like lady viper or..... the Creeper!!

hahaha i am kidding about him... i like him just not like Polaris!:cwink:

STAN LEE

Stan Lee is one of the cultural innovators of the 20th century. Without him 2014 would look like a completely different place.

Always comes across as just a really nice bloke too.

We have Jack Kirby for help there
I don't think the world would look that different

Always comes across as just a really nice bloke too.
Yeah, I like how he NEVER talks bad about people

I love Stan Lee but don't want to meet him. They always say that the worst thing you can do is meet your heroes because they never amount to the pedestal you put them on. I prefer him to stay on that pedestal.

I'd love to get an autograph though. Not necessarily in person, just something with his name on it. I used to have a copy of Ravage 2099 that had his signature in it with a certificate of authentication. I'll have to see if I can find one of those again.

Eh.

Guys kind of a Bob Kane sort, but less of a glory stealing A-hole....slightly less.

I've heard good and bad about him. The good usually outweighs the bad but he's helped create the comic characters that we've all known and grown up with and set the stage for the thousands of others that have come since. I really have nothing bad to say about him as I don't know him but I am very grateful that he has done what he has way back when to get things going as they are now. I'm also glad he's still alive to see all those books he worked on and managed come to life on the big screen, I wonder if he enjoyed them as much as he said he did.

COME ON!It's STAN! HE IS JUST THE MAN!! yeah i heard all the stuff about what he did, like to Kirby and he's just a PT Barnum" a sucker is born every minute" used car salesman ,but what would Jerry Lewis be without Dean Martin! Sonny without Cher, The Skipper without Gilligan, Kanye without Kim ... okay! you could argue about that last one!:cwink:
Stan deserves his place amidst the pantheon of comic gods cause without His charisma( and yeah i met him! he's old as dirt and i hadda pay my respect like the godfather to him before he kicks the bucket! the dude was nice!) without that and his showmanship comics might not have survived and we would all be reading PORN instead.. and probably be more messed up than just seeing *Black cat's Balloons in latex by now!
STAN ROCKS!!

*though killing Gwen Stacy did have me bawling my ass off for years! thank god my therapist was like "it's only a comic book!":cwink: hehe

POLARIS? So much potential. She should have been plucked from whatever the useless hell crap the X writers had her doing at the time and she should have taken Wanda's place as token Mutant on the Avengers team. I mean... the (possible?) Magneto connection alone is gold. Explore what makes her tick. Why is she not just out of the hero biz totally? What's her motivation? She can be fun and interesting, and when Peter David was writing her in the 1990's, she was blunt and to the point. The anti Jean Grey.

Stan Lee... Look, I have mostly positive but complex feelings about the man. What I will say is this: Stan is a complex and flawed hero to millions that gave those millions complex and flawed heroes. And that's all I have to say about that.

LOVE Skaar! The time period from Skaar: Son of Hulk through Planet Savage is the only time period in Hulk history that really pulled me in. I followed him until he left the New Avengers. I keep hoping for him to pop up somewhere that might interest me, but he hasn't really. He was too seldom used to justify paying money for Thunderbolts, and I don't recall if he's shown up anywhere since.

But yeah, love him. The build up to his eventual showdown with his father was great, and the actual issue with the fight was phenomenal.

if you are a superhero and you need a sword and your name aint "Conan" or a gun (like that red piece of crap carried) and your name aint "Punisher"! you more than likely SUCK!!
Boo that guy!

I like the concept and back story of the character but it seems like they have no use for him now.

I have a general dislike of characters that are copies in some way of other characters. On the other hand, I have yet to read anything with Jade Jaws Junior in it anyway, so... He exists is about all I can say.

When did he get out if his momma died when she was pregnant?

Not a character this time, today will be the turn of a show

This show introduced me to Marvel characters
The Black Knight of this show isn't the one from Marvel Comics

actually spider my man the black knight of that show was the black knight in comics. Dane Whitman's ancestor who possessed the ebony blade cursed by Morgan Le Fey was a straight up dickweed and a bad guy.(the dude in the show!) Dane decided when the blade was handed down to him to along with dude's horse to right all the wrongs his %^&head ancestor did and become a good guy. the blade is constantly making that dude want to do bad $%^^& and he has to fight it influences which is why that dude is COOL! :cwink:
