I don't know if I've ever read a thing with her in it. Was she the one who died in Smith's run? I so, then I read that but have no real memory of it. That was long before I started reading Daredevil.

So you've never read Born Again?

SHAME ON YOU.

Jeez Hob, get you some book learnin into ya.

I plan to eventually. It was always just a financial thing. I plan on reading some back Daredevil soon.

 i couldnt help but think of Stripes" and Bill Murray " ARmmmmmy Traininnnnn SIR!:cwink:

anyways Karen is cool!
the whole "starlet get strung out and sells her boyfriend secret ID for more smack"( aint that just like a starlet!) to her dealer who then sells it to the kingpin was one the realist truest storylines in comics( just think Lindsey Lohan!) it was sad, but you kinda wanted to kill her at the same time! that time with DD was when Miller was Boss!!.... then he flipped out and made "the Spirit" Movie!

SERGEI KRAVINOFF

KAREN PAGE: Man... I am going to get rapped in the mouth for this, but I think she actually did become a more dimensional character when Miller did what he did. Of course that was before he became JUST a reactionary whack job. I mean, he was a reactionary whack job before, but his female characters could be more that just one dimensional femme fatales, or madonna or ho' sterotypes. Yeah, Karen got addicted to H and did porn. Later appearances even those not written by Miller capitalized on that. It made DD's little corner of the Marvel U seem much more down to Earth, even with the mystical ninjas and rooftop battles. Now if only writers could come up with ways to do that for female characters in general without dragging them down into total hedonistic corruption or addiction or in Emma Frost's case keeping their responsometers in total rhymes with witch mode.

KRAVEN THE HUNTER? Is he alive or dead? His last hunt is a classic. He should have been kept in the cold cold ground, and yes, I am prepared to be rapped on the mouth again for this, but I liked his son. Sue me, I'd rather have Kraven jr. walking around than his dad.

Both Kraven and his dead son walk on ground again
His dead son being a semi werewolf, or whatever you call that thing
The other kid had no reason to join his step mom's quest

It was actually a humanoid lion and he's dead again. It's the other one that's still around. Technically, he was the 3rd Kraven introduced but was referred to as Kraven II.

I like Kraven. Kraven's Last Hunt was one of my favorite stories. I don't mind that they brought him back though. They references to the storyline had been beaten into the ground. My only issue is that they brought him back, made it interesting and he hasn't been seen since with the exception of early issues of Venom. Unless some character wanders into a remote section of the Savage Land, you won't see Kraven. Kind of a waste...

He's no fun, methinks
No one has anything to say about him

GROOT

if its the real Kraven and not some other dude we are talking than \he's cool!" Karven the hunter" is one of the coolest names Stan and crew came up with while they were smoking whatever to come up with some of these name!" Kraven the hunter" Thats cool.. plus Kraven's last hunt is awesome! anybody else name that forget them!
Groot eh i can tke him or leave him!

I dig Kraven. I liked his son too.

And Groot? What can I say? He gives me a woody. :o

Groot's cool. I'm curious to see how they use him in the movie. Lord knows they have the perfect actor for the role.....another piece of wood. :o

Geez Boulder, sounds like he makes you board.

Not fond of Vin Diesel on screen I see
I'm not a fan either

I love Groot, though I think it's funny that everyone's forgotten that he CAN say more than just I Am GROOT. In the Annihilation Conquest: Starlord mini that first brought him back, he spoke regularly. I think it was later stated that after being destroyed and needing regrown, I Am GROOT was all all he could say but that more would come in time. Well, it never did.

That aside, I love Groot :)

As for Kraven... I loved Kraven's Last Hunt, but I've not read a whole lot prior to that. I did like his son (from the early Clone-Saga days) for as short of a run as he had though.

Well played.

There were not many great Kraven stories before that. His debut stories were good and there were a few issues in the early days of Spectacular Spider-Man (I think there or ASM) that featured him and Calypso but other than that you didn't miss much.

Yeah, I've heard that the only real good Kraven story was the one he died in and that that arc made him out to be a much better villain than he actually was.

He was better in death than life. When they finally brought him back I though there were some great possibilities but he just disappeared. Such a waste. And I really enjoyed Grim Hunt too....:csad:

Kraven was an interesting idea but until he killed himself he was just kinda meh. I think I liked his Ultimate version better just because he was more interesting.

Groot is neat. I've read little about him outside the Annihilation arcs but I loved his interactions with Maximus of the Inhumans where all he would say is "I am Groot" and Maximus would spout all sorts of technobabble in response and praise his technological insights while everyone just stared at them and questioned if he really was saying something or if Maximus really was just nuts.

Very excited for the new GotG movie coming out.

Because two versions of this boring ****** came out in the main Marvel Universe, I present to you both versions of Nathaniel Summers

X-MAN

CABLE

I love Cables feet in the second picture.

X-Man - Never really got the hang of the guy. Came from the AoA, hung around for a bit the died, got better, lost most of his powers then joined the New Mutants.

Cable - Only really liked him in the Cable and Deadpool books. Most other things I read were meh.

They really need to have all Scotts kids from alternate timelines in the main MU show up for X-mas one year just to annoy him.

I don't really know much about X-Man, but I do dig Cable.

I like Cable best when the story is dealing with his being Scott's son or his future with the Askani. Normal stories though do little for me.

I LOVED Nate Grey. I thought he was cool in AoA and LOVED it when it made the transition. I thought his book was phenomenal for the first two or three years, but then it started to lag. I hated the Shaman thing but later grew to appreciate it. Sadly, he's been pretty pointless and boring since returning from the dead.
