State Your Opinion on a Marvel Character - Part 1

Flash was awesome as Peter's nemesis, even more awesome as his close friend, especially awesome as an alcoholic, incredibly awesome as an Iraq war vet that lost his legs fighting for our country and epically awesome as Venom. THAT IS ALL.

Damn Black, you just brought the party to a screeching halt with the Flash T image you chose. Gotta be all solemn and stuff now
That's how life is vader. 1 min you are in a bar with chicks taking their bras off standing on it. The next you are in a tijuana jail cell with carlos the jackal! Hehe

I hate bullies! If anything comics have taught me with "great power comes greater responsibility". It was cool when he stopped being a bully and became his friend. Kinda like a big brother to him, but then he became a venom! A foe of spidey's. A bully again! so ^*&^%$ Flash Gordon!!

I like Flash. He's real in the sense that, a lot of people in their teens are a-holes and don't even realize it, then when they get a little older and realize it they stop being a-holes. Didn't like the losing his legs thing at all though.

P.s. Just moved and have no internet (except here at work), so that's why I'm not on much. Thanks for updating the list for me in the meantime Aziz!

Flash Venom is the most interesting any Venom has ever been, ever. It obviously helps when you have Rick Remender writing.

Flash rocks, and now as Venom he's not a Spider-Man villain, but an interesting soldier
They need to team him up with Rogers again

Your welcome

Best version of venom ever and the only one that's actually had a decent series. Flash is an example of what happens when you decide to flesh a one dimensional character out.

I liked when he was a gym teacher at the school Pete worked at.

Despite starting out as something of a Moose (Archie comics) wanna-be, ol' Flash became a pretty decent little supporting cast member in the Spidey world.(Venom-isms aside that is...)

Harry Osborn was never Peter's BFF. Flash was. Always had been. Their dynamic is a fun one. He hated Peter, yet worshiped Spidey. He genuinely matured, became pals with Peter, and was part of what was now Peter's click. Harry was better off dead. I dunno, I just don't remember any "friendship" between Peter and Harry, other than being roommates, and in college, I had a roommate I hated. That doesn't make them bros. Its just Marvel retroactively adding layers to those two nowadays just to make them seem like bros. because then they can really play with the whole Peter-Harry-Spidey-Norman drama, made even sweeter if we pretend Pete & Harry were the best of kin. Or maybe I'm still missing a lot of issues where they seemed like best friends and not just roomies that hung out.

Anyway, Flash made a better bud, and now he's Venom. Now the Venom rant...hmmm...wow. He is soooooo not Gargan. That's a plus. Hmmm...I like him as Venom. I was skeptical at first...I tried giving Gargan a chance...but Flash has really nailed the gimmick with his own twist. But lately I've been falling out of love with his current stories. I'm praying after Circle of Four (ongoing Venom arc now) that will change. I also have a few other issues with his Venom. I'll spare you those details. Hmmm. I guess I'm really liking Flash as Venom, a hiccup here or there, tho.

If I had MY GODDAMN WAY, Flash would stay Venom permanently (fully bonded to the symbiote with an editorial mandate that Flash and the alien CANNOT BE SEPARATED) and Eddie would permanently be Anti-Venom (similar mandatory editorial ruling).

Flash is a solid character. I really like what they've done with him in the Venom series and hopefully Remender stays on that book for a while because it seems he's the secret ingredient to make Venom interesting again.

Nothing new to add, but I'll support all the positive sentiment.

we leave that "pal" and bring on stage a real pal! He's been Bucky to Cap's Cap! Shared bodies with Mar-vell( NO!! not that way!).Bestest friend to the hulk ! Hell! even the Kree Supreme Intelligence big ass brain wants to be his friend !welcome to the stage.

RICK JONES

ha..that's kinda funny. That was gonna be one of the terms I was gonna use, (groupie)! In theory I should hate the guy, as I'm not too big on sidekicks, but he's done so much stuff in his tenure within the MU that I can look past all that annoying-snotnosed punk/sidekick stuff, and recognize him as a consistent supporting character...so like. :woot:

He was cool until they turned him into an Abomination.

(See what I did there...?:ninja::whatever:)

Flash is one of the best developed supporting characters in comics.

Rick Jones is awesome as well, I think his absence is part of why the Hulk movies haven't worked. Plus he's one of several Marvel characters who look suspiciously like Bucky.

Not a fan, and flat out hate him when he was added as yet another Hulk... not to mention, A-Bomb? Really?

Rick Jones is awesome. One of my all time favorite supporting characters.

He was awesome with Hulk. He was awesome as Cap's almost sidekick. He was awesome with both Captain Marvels. And he sucks as a A-Bomb. :o

Everybodies got flaws I guess. :(

F**kin' Loeb. :argh:

Best member in any supporting cast, period
I wish they didn't kill him, I wanted him to last longer with Captain Marvel and hang out more with the Avengers

KATANNNNNNNNNGGGG!!!

i loved that *&^%!!
yeah Rick is serious the bomb! not the A-Bomb as Run mentioned( hahahaa i got it) he was the man! i dug how he felt he was responsible for banner becoming the hulk and has tried ever since to make of for it. The other Heroes dig him and i dig em..even if he is a hippie( i will take a hippie over a corporate butt pirate anyday)He's a 7 on the rocktor!

I only really know him from early Avengers/Cap sidekick stuff, he seemed an essential dynamic in the few old issues of Hulk I read though.

Awesome sidekick to Cap but Teen Brigade was such a lame name for his gang!

Also remember Rick Jones kindly, though it's been many years since I paid any attention to what he was doing.
