Indiana Jones Kingdom of the Crystal Skull is better than The Last Crusade.

Tim Burton's Batman movies are terrible, and poor representations of Batman.

Man Of Steel is worse than Superman Returns.

The horror genre has not produced a really good horror movie since the 80's.

Definitely not true, but it is an opinion thread. Horror has declined, but there are plenty of amazing horror flicks popping up every now and again. Off the top of my head, The Conjuring and Trick R Treat. Great little horror flicks.

I don't care for Dumb and Dumber, and think the sequel looks ****ing terrible.

I'll drink to that.

I have never cared for Dumb and Dumber. Only one part made me laugh: the "most annoying sound in the world" joke. I still find that part funny. The rest of the movie is a huge dud for me though, and the new one looks pretty awful.

Trick R Treat? Hated it:csad:

I liked Trick R Treat, though like most films that feature a compilation of interconnected stories, some are better than others.

I prefer Tales from the Crypt, From beyond the grave and Dead of Night (1945). Dead of Night is the best anthology movie evah.

Let the Right One In, Ringu, Audition (and a bunch of other J-Horror and Asian films), Wolf Creek, Funny Games, Eden Lake, Saw, The Strangers, Silence of the Lambs, Scream, 6th Sense, Jacob's Ladder etc...

Eden Lake made me angry:csad: I wanted to hit something.

Better than being indifferent or bored, I suppose:yay: Yeah, the film was quite disturbing. Also I think it was the first time I saw Fassbender in a film, he was pretty good in this.

Luckily, Harry Brown came out some years later and showed those kids! In my world, it's Eden Lake 2:o

(Kidding, I don't think it's okay to kill those little chav bastards. Just kick them very hard in the ass)

I know that a lot of people who were kids in the 90's love The Mighty Ducks. I never thought it was all that. It's probably the most overrated kid sports movie ever, in my opinion.

And Attack the Block is a very bad Eden Lake 3, where all of a sudden for no reason those little bastards are our last line of defense against an alien invasion:woot::cwink:

Jacob's Ladder is a great movie.
