Nice that the kids don't look like they've aged too much since the last film. I'm assuming the flashbacks will be fairly soon after their encounter with Pennywise. Interesting that they're shooting the adults and kids simultaneously.
 
Leave this thread for 20 something hours and all hell breaks loose. I understand not liking somebody being cast in a roll. I however don't understand not seeing the movie because of it.
 
Okay guys, I have had enough of yesterday's topic. The discussion ends now on Mandon skipping the movie due to Chastain. That goes for EVERYONE. If you having nothing else to add to the topic of the thread other than your disdain for 1 actress, then don't post in here. This whole topic is ruining discussion of this movie for most people who don't care one way or another on this topic, so it's unfair to them this constantly hijacks it. You're entitled to your opinion. No one is forcing you to see the movie. But if you cannot contribute anything of substance to the thread topic and overall discussion of the movie, then skip this thread as well.

Wow, can’t seem to recall him from the movie at all, but I don’t think he was in it much.
 
He just hung around with Bowers and Belch. I don't think he even had any lines. But him and Belch being there must mean the scene with adult Bowers in the asylum, where Pennywise makes him hallucinate his friends telling him to go back to Derry to kill the Losers for what they did to him.

Ah right that maybe why I can’t recall him. I didn’t read the book though so it’s interesting to hear what’s to come. I did see the TV movie as a kid but can’t remember most of it.
 
It might be how he's angled in the photo but it looks like the kid who plays Ben has lost a bit of weight.
 
Is that how long they shot the first film?

September/October tells me there might be some autumn look as well as summer.

Yes, it was about the same length of time. September in Toronto is still very much summer like. I suspect late September and throughout October the cast and crew will be shooting scenes in studio. Some of the last stuff shot on the first film were the sewer scenes in studio.

Day one doesn't mean it was day one of filming. It could be rehearsals, cast read through, costume fitting, promotional photography, etc.

I just assumed Day 1 would mean Day 1 of Principal Photography. I assumed promotional stuff would be done after filming.
