Is it weird that the creepier the baby gets, the more adorable I find it? I mean, she's totally trolling her mom, but it's just so precious. I'd totally be okay with having a hyper-intelligent pseudo-extraterrestrial baby. :o

I'm glad they killed off Michelle Rodriguez-lite

And can't believe they did the corny cliche of "character is dying so they talk about future plans with their friend"

Well, I caught up with the last three episodes.

I was really disappointed with what they did with the new aliens. They have them show up all impressively in the season finale... and then we barely see them in the season premiere?

They could have easily spent a whole two-part episode on the formalizing of an alliance / giving a sitrep of interstellar geopolitics. Instead, they're minor background characters, who get mentioned a few times. What the hell?

Well this show isn't Star Trek, where humans and aliens come together and form alliances and do politics. I think they want to emphasize that this the human's fight plus aren't they all busy with whatever they're building? But I would at least I would like to see more alien tech used by the humans, like weapons and armour would be nice as well as scientific medical technology Anne could use.

A new species of friendly aliens just showed up changing the entire dynamic of the war... I think that should be the focus, at least for the premiere. They have a whole season to focus on the human struggle.

The human characters spent two seasons trying to learn as much as they could about the aliens... a new species shows up which apparently has considerable knowledge about them and the state of the universe in general, you would think they would spend quite a bit of time talking to them about that, or relaying it to the audience.

Really wasted that build up.

So the real President has come out to play. If they go to war with one another. That General in Chucktown will take his army and play for the other team. It's going to be 2nd Mass and their alien allies vs. humans & fishface.

I guess Hal forgot that he was with his family playing Monopoly when the VP was gun downed. C'mon Hal.

That creepy ass baby. Was it smiling as the aliens ships were attacking? That little cute bastard. :o

Hey, it's Garza from Continuum. The blond sniper. I guess having two heavily tattooed bad ass chicks is too much for the show. So Crazed had to go. The sniper could have done Matt a favor and given that boy a hair cut. Just line his ugly ass hairdo up in her cross hair and viola. The boy has a Mohawk. :BA

lol

She may be MR-lite. But MR will always Vasquez-lite...

Yeah, that bit was cheesy.

That baby is like Michigan J. Frog.

I agree it was a missed opportunity. Unless the coming eps flashback during those 7 months. That finale was the main hook for me this season and TPTB skipped over it like it wasn't a big deal. Eventhough it obviously was.

Three seasons in, and I still find it hard to believe Lourdes was a Med student when the invasion started, while Hal (whose actor is clearly older than her) was supposed to be a high school student and Ben (probably closer in age to the girl that plays Lourdes) is even younger than that.

Damn, they finally got me to like Lourdes when she dropped the Jesus bull but now she's all up in Anne's business!

Was nice to see Colonel Tigh again :D

It would have been more believable if they wrote Lourdes as a junior high school kid. 3 years later and she still looks like she's in the 8th grade.

Yep, not buying it. Hal may unknowingly be a traitor. But not the one everyone is looking for. Still looking at one or both of the new female characters. Marina and the one who backed out of the procedure that would completely remove all traces of the harness.

Anne really jumped the gun there. She has the 22nd to back her and her alien creepy ass baby if folks wanted to try something. Hell, she could have ran to Ben and have him escort her and the infant to the rebel skitter camp til hubby returned. What an unnecessary mess she has found herself in.

I hope Big Dog and his camp don't do something stupid with Cochise that would jeopardize the alliance. Hope Cochise isn't the reason the meeting ended so abruptly.

I just think of Lourdes as one of those people who will look young no matter how old they get. See: Andrew McCarthy. :hehe:

Yeah, I think so too. There's probably another sleeper agent. I liked arrogant bad guy Hal. Much better than the dopey normal Hal.

Total wtf moments for me, but I guess they needed a way to get Anne and Alexis out of the camp and into the arms of Karen and the Espheni.

The traitor had to be with Tom because the traitor ultimately told the aliens where the real president was hiding. Hal wasn't aware of that, nor was anyone at the camp. My guess is that the traitor is Pope. It makes sense that Winchester would've referred to him nonchalantly as he was investigating/interviewing murder suspects (a list that Pope would probably be on).

I think making it Pope would be a good call. It is time for him to go. The character has run its course. The writers need to do to him, what the Walking Dead writers did to Shane.

I was thinking it's Matt Frewer.

Yeah, I'd say either him or Pope at this point. We know it has to be someone on the plane because they found the real president. I am leaning toward Pope just due to the fact that he stayed behind at the plane and there was that scene where he was staring off at the incoming ships, but it could very easily be General Bressler.

One cool twist is if it is Tom and it is a lasting effect of what the aliens did to him while he was a prisoner.

It doesn't necessarily have to be one of the people with the plane. There are more than enough people back at Charlotte that know who Tom is meeting. It would be easy enough to just stick a homing device on the plane, or anyone/anything that went with the plane.

I just caught up on the last two episodes and they were great as usual. I'm confused as to why Anne was doing the stuff she did after she found out the baby had alien genes and that she wasn't crazy.

What was the point to knocking out Dr. Kadar, drugging Lourdess, and running away with the creepy alien demon spawn?

I really hated the president "big dog" and his army. They were jerks and I just don't trust them. I loved the story Cochise told about the flower and his people. I'm still not sure I trust him completely but I liked the story.

I still think the mole is the woman Tom picked to be the next vice-president.

Here's what I don't get, why are the American forces on the show this disorganized? I mean, it's not like Revolution, where nothing works.

Couldn't they just radio each other? Drop leaflets? Send people with messages?

Too many aliens and mechs walking around with their advanced technology.

Just to save myself from double posting, I can't believe they made Hal the mole the whole time. I was hoping for a plot twist and that it would be someone else. It was kinda obvious sadly. Regarding the baby, how is it that Anne forgot all about the time Tom was on the ship and was tortured in the ship and probably had his DNA messed with. On a side note, I totally understood the genetic DNA test they were trying to do where they examined the DNA by gel banding, had to do one for class.

Weaver made it very clear that he was creating smoke and mirrors to hide that Tom was even leaving Charleston much less meeting the President. Only Weaver and Anne knew that Tom left to begin with. Weaver wouldn't even tell Hal where Tom was (just that he was gone).

so, at the end of the last episode, did the plane the President and Cochise were on get hit by enemy fire?
