Steven Spielberg's Falling Skies

Weaver made it very clear that he was creating smoke and mirrors to hide that Tom was even leaving Charleston much less meeting the President. Only Weaver and Anne knew that Tom left to begin with. Weaver wouldn't even tell Hal where Tom was (just that he was gone).

There were clearly other people in the room when Weaver was talking to Tom on the radio, and who knows who Pope talked to in the two hours between Tom telling him "we leave in two hours" and when they actually left.

But I doubt any of them had the connection to any other leaked plans. Pope and Bressler are the two most likely suspects.

I say its the baby. Clearly that evil thing has mind controlling telekinetic powers

I think it might be Wilson, Robert Sean Leonard. Everyone thinking he's a shut in is a good alibi. He could probably make a device that can allow him to hear the plans and Locke would be surprised to see him.

So you're suggesting it is just some random extra who was standing in a room looking military-like?

That would be hilarious! lol To have some no-name dude be the mole and everybody is wondering who the hell that person even was.

The mole is still not accounted for? I thought it was Hal, I mean the last scene kind of conveyed that.

I can see it now.
"Scott was the mole?"
"You mean Steve, Scott's dead"

The doc is their swiss army scientist, he can't be the spy.
The guy is an expert in nuclear fusion, biology, genetics, he covers every scientific fields that is required.

If it was Wilson, then the VP would have been surprised seeing him surface from that underground dungeon of his. You know, before the gun was raised on him.

There might be more than one. Hal being the unknowingly participant. The other being the one everyone is looking for who killed the VP.

Interesting theories some of you have on who might the spy be and why. I have a feeling the spy's a woman.

He did say something to the effect of "what are you doing here?"

So I guess there goes my theory about Frewer's character being the mole...

Now I'm guessing [blackout]Wilson (or whatever his name is on this show)[/blackout].

I liked the camp fire scene between Pope & Tom. Actually thought that bonding moment would actually make them blood brothers of sort. Then Tom squashed that and the two nearly killed one another.

Simple solution to Matt's fear. Don't go out on missions. And get a damn hair cut.

The traitor had to be with Tom because the traitor ultimately told the aliens where the real president was hiding. Hal wasn't aware of that, nor was anyone at the camp. My guess is that the traitor is Pope. It makes sense that Winchester would've referred to him nonchalantly as he was investigating/interviewing murder suspects (a list that Pope would probably be on).

I think making it Pope would be a good call. It is time for him to go. The character has run its course. The writers need to do to him, what the Walking Dead writers did to Shane.

Okay, you're on to something. Last night, Tom said the blond sniper didn't give the coordinates til the plane was in flight. So we got Tom, Pope or a tracking device by someone else. The General is out, literally. A dead mole is not the way to go.

That someone else that I'm thinking of has always been and is mostly likely Marina. Shady move by her last night. Of course, she could be serving the best interest of the humans who don't trust the volms or skitters. She didn't kill Wilson. So she can still go either way.

If I understood Wilson last night. The volm told Tom that the weapon is for such and such and requires this must energy. But the machine is actually taking on more energy than what is needed for said purpose. So it's actually much more powerful than what the volm had led them to believe. Interesting. The fishheads haven't presented anything yet that would call for the need of such a weapon. This weapon could be something else entirely.

Marina is looking very sketchy. I was almost positive it would be Pope or the now-dead Bressler. Bressler could still have been it but it's very doubtful and unless Pope is playing some very long game with Tom, he's not it since he had many chances to kill Tom or give them up to the skitters.

The weapon too is sounding very much more than it is claimed but it may not be as nefarious as we're being led to believe.

really hope the Volm don't turn out to be bad.

it would kind of clichéd and boring if all alien species are bad or have ulterior motives.

Unfortunately clichés and stereotype characters are the trademark of this show.
My guess at this point, the Volm plan to settle ( terraforming / hybrid under their control like the Creepy Baby or stuff along those lines ) on Earth, they are using the humans to get rid of the Overlords.

They are soo going to terraforming the crap of earth. Wait and see.

The story they told us could just be their covering up for their plans to do what the Espheni were planning which is indeed terraforming the planet to recreate their own.

I really hope it's not though. It is the so predictable "trust no one (alien)" that I'll probably quit watching it if they do that.

The certainly made Gloria Reuben look like the spy this week... maybe a little too much. But I still think it's her.
