Speaking of death and emotional... Im gonna be working on a Jean/Phoenix video and im incorporating the song "Purify" by Lacuna Coil. That is, in my opinion, is Jean's endsong.

Same with Lacuna Coil's Purify. its got the words "I'm alive again." I suggest you listen to it when u get the chance. Its got that powerful feel to Jean...the emotion is there.

That's because it shows just how much more powerful Xavier is than her. And you know certain Jean fans can't deal with that reality.

Basically, that scene proved that Jean can destroy the finite, but she can't touch the infinite, so ultimately he owned her. His grave is empty...hers is full.

Compare how many seconds it took for her to demolecularize every other object and human to the eons of time it took for her to take Xavier apart. He just floated up there, distentagrating but holding his own. She couldn't just blow him up like everything else. Why? Because his mind was giving hers a run for its money.

In fact, he was so strong that eventually she had to get up out her chair, and spread her arms and make her skin go black--and all that just for him to smile and wink at Logan saying "I'll be back later."

He owned her.

actually, i had never thought about that "Xavier is more powerful than her" thing. But that last scene contradicts the whole film and is the vital proof of bad storytelling. Xavier, to me, is dead. I would prefer him alive, but between him dead and a twin brother who spent the whole life waiting to Xavier take his body (thats how they would explain it), i sure choose dead Xavier.

the whole movie was pointless. Jean is dead (just like in X2), Xavier is alive, Magneto is not cured. They just used this film to get rid of "unimportant and boring characters" like Rogue, Cyclops and Mystique.

Thats why i prefer to not take into account the last two little scenes. To me, Magneto is cured and Xavier is dead.
