That could be BvS' second trailer though too so idk

If they have a teaser a year in advance it'll be with The Man from U.N.C.L.E.. There'll be a full trailer with BvS for sure.

General Sam Lane us rumoured to be in the movie. Which will connect MOS to this.

There have been teaser trailers released to the public while films were still in principal photography before. Suicide Squad may or may not end up being one of them, but there is precedent.

well some movies have trailers like 2 years before the movie comes out, it doesn't mean we could get a suicide squad trailer tomorrow. Youre talking about the exception here not the norm. IMO there is basically 0% chance we get a trailer a year out for Suicide Squad. November/December looks a lot more likely

So a few movies per year, the very biggest tentpole releases, get teasers a year in advance. Those teasers are sometimes released while the film is still in principal photography. That's part of a special breed of teaser for versions of movies that weren't actually made. There was a teaser for a Spider-Man movie in the 1980s that didn't get made, too, although I'm not sure if it actually played in theaters or was just a promotional tool for investors at the time. Has there ever been a teaser featuring footage from an actual production that went on to be released that has come out as much as two years in advance?
