I tweeted David Ayer out last night in response to his "canon/not canon" tweet by saying as long as there's some sprinkles of Ostrander's SS run, I'll be happy with whatever he comes up with. 5 Minutes later, he tweeted those that pic with those SS comics and they just so happened to be stuff from Ostrander's run. Go figure. :o

you saved this film :o

American Sniper has surpassed The Matrix Reloaded as the 2nd highest grossing R-rated movie of all time. While I still think Suicide Squad will be PG-13, with the right marketing, it could be just as successful if it was rated R.

Wow! So Bradley Cooper now has three of the top five R-rated films of all time?! And four in the top eleven. Maybe they should cast Cooper in SUICIDE SQUAD.

Kinda looks like that bus is crashing through the cars.
I wonder who's driving? :hmm

Will Smith and Margot Robbie talk Suicide Squad!! They also address Tom Hardy's departure!
A brief history: Tom Hardy was originally scheduled to take on Rick Flagg and head the group of powerful convicts in the Warner Bros. action flick, but he dropped out due to scheduling conflicts. Then Jake Gyllenhaal was rumored to be up for the part, but that's a no-go. So what's really going on?

"This happens all the time," says Robbie. "People act like, 'Oh my god, the movie must be ending!' It's just the deal with movies." Not to mention "a lot of the characters haven't been portrayed before so it's a pretty big undertaking," she adds. "And it's a big undertaking for the people who are going to play the characters who have been played, like the Joker (to be played by Jared Leto). It's big shoes to fill."

But why is Flagg, a plum role, so hard to cast? There are a lot of factors at play, says Smith. Director David Ayer "turned the screenplay in before Christmas. What happens is Hollywood shuts down. But he was still working and he wanted to (start shooting) April 13th. So it takes a couple weeks to gear back up at the top of the year and people have taken (other) movies. He's moving really quickly."

Robbie nods. "It's almost impossible to get a movie all together when there are two main cast members, let alone an ensemble cast with everyone's schedules. It's crazy if it works out."

In the meantime, both have already started intense Suicide Squad workouts. "Oh god yes," says Smith. "I started before Christmas. No carbs on Christmas! It was terrible."

"Oh, I ate everything on Christmas," laughs Robbie, who is focusing on strength-training. "I'm not strong though. To do all your own stunts you have to be so strong."

No carbs on Christmas? I couldn't do it. Will Smith has a strong will.

The Hardy stuff we already knew.

It could still be very successful but I think it would be more successful and give more contribution to the DCCU without the higher rating. The higher rating restricts some younger guys from seeing it while most of the people who see it with the higher rating will see it with the PG rating (unless they're really hung up on only watching higher rating films or something). And it seems a little unfair on younger guys who you're marketing a new universe of films to that they won't be able to watch one of the first ones.

Looks like a Metropolis bus. This is a photo I took from when Batman v Superman was filming in Detroit.

That is a TTC bus. As in Toronto Transit Comission. The film I believe is being shot in Toronto.

I think they will announce the next round of Suicide Squad casting like they did the last time where they confirm/announced multiple roles.

Here's hoping for list like this:
Confirmation for Amanda Waller- Viola Davis and Lex Luthor- Jesse Eisenberg
Rick Flagg
Rick FLagg's Daddy
Deathstroke
and Gen. Sam Lane? Or Gen. Eiling?

That would be something to talk about for a few days.

Will Smith and Margot Robbie (briefly) talk Suicide Squad.

It will be just a few short months before Jai is possibly out on the Terminator: Genisys press tour, if he's not filming for this of course.

We might get some Digger info.

Wasn't fond of his Robocop, but he was great on The Killing. I would be all for this casting if it turned out to be true.
