Yeah, I know it is.

And this is the reason why I think the rumor might be true.

Maybe the emotional scene between Deadshot/Batman is one where it will "win over" the audience.

Where even if it isn't your ideal Deadshot you'd be interested in seeing where the character goes. I think part of it though is just how interesting the other characters are.

Not a fan of GOTG, and it's not because it's a Marvel movie.

I like it well enough...but timewise it flows quite well.

Not being much of a Will Smith fan, that's my remaining hope. Being able to see past the actor and care about whichever arc they give to the character.

That is speaking for the sake of the Batman solo as he'd have quite a prominent role there (again, if the rumor is true). In SS, other characters will get my attention anyway.

They’re going to do a sequel for sure, and the recently announced spinoff with Margot Robbie has got everyone excited, too, but their plans don’t end there. The studio is feeling very confident in the property. They think it’s going to be a really big hit and they think audiences are going to fall in love with these characters.
I’ve heard more than a few talks of giving some of the other Task Force X members their own spinoffs, and like the Harley Quinn one, these films would open the door for a ton of new DC characters to show up.
The Joker is a definite possibility for a spinoff, and Jared [Leto] seems up for it from what I’ve been told. They’re also really hot on Jai Courtney’s character Boomerang right now. Nothing’s set in stone yet, but you’re definitely going to be seeing a lot more of these guys in the years to come.”

A Boomerang spinoff would be interesting as well...but not sure it would get the audience. Unless a bunch of other Flash villains are in it like Captain Cold, Trickster, etc.

But anyway...

Not sure. I hope so though. I've held off of posting this tweet because I don't want to set myself/others up for failure (i.e reading tweets saying BvS is as good as TDK...)

@trevbwake I'm gonna make a bold statement that Leto's Joker portrayal is BETTER than Heath's. Very different take ok him but better IMHO.


But I think if Leto just delivers a good performance we can get basically a Joker movie covering about 15 years. Mostly because Leto looks so young for his age. I'm really hoping he delivered because a Joker movie, maybe featuring Croc? Would be awesome. Get David Fincher to direct

Heh Jared loves Fincher. Not that that's uncommon, but he brings him up all the time and how great it is working with him, so that'd be perfect.

It's almost a shame they've included most of Harley's origin in this film, because I would have been keen on a "Bonnie and Clyde"-esque adaptation of Mad Love.

We'll have to wait until the solo Batman for Letoker again, I feel. Hopefully they manage to splice him in a few other films too. I hope there's not a long drought for certain DCU characters.

Looks like going forward Geoff Johns is the only member of the DCEU brain trust that will still wield power in DC Films. Roven is moving towards a more EP type role, and im guessing Both the Snyder's are exiting post JL part one.

Yeah, I have a feeling that if Snyder wasn't already so deep into JL, his role would have been gutted rather extensively as well. I'm honestly surprised he wasn't pulled from JL with all the backlash, but it's hard to know what WB/DC is thinking anymore.

The best thing that could some from Snyder's involvement in JL would be villains that I'm convinced are a threat - he did it well with Zod and the destruction he incurred, and again with the devastation from Doomsday. They put Affleck higher up on the totem pole for the JL movies, so hopefully he can get Snyder to imbue the heroes with the right personality and get him a better editor.

The Boomerang solo would work well as a comedy - people think Harkness is a joke of a villain. He's the scrappy guy that has to make a name for himself with his silly gimmick.
