I think Roven might've been the problem. He automatically took on Ayer's movie right after he pitched it and face tracked it. I think Ayer only had like 5 months to write the script before casting then shooting which isn't nearly enough time to adjust and make changes

I have been wishing hard enough for DC to fix this crap. If I can't make that work, how can I expect for that wish to happen?

I have to admit this whole debacle hurts my soul. But my faith was shattered in March and now it's like somebody took a dump on the pieces. I wish I never had any faith in WB's plan.

It's all hindsight confirmation. If a film turns out well, "see, all movies have reshoots of some sort." If a film turns out bad, "see, the reshoots were because of problems."

All movies do have reshoots. But the size of the reshoots matter. How much is being changed matters.

I never understood why they would want to lead into this universe (beyond Superman-involved films) with a gaggle of rogue villains.

There's something wrong with WB right now. They used to be top dog year after year, but it seems ever since Alan Horn left and Tsujihara took over, it went downhill.

Their upcoming non-DC films don't inspire much confidence either. Guy Ritchie's King Arthur looks abysmal and I feel Kong: Skull Island will also be panned. Andy Serkis's Jungle Book? Fugget 'bout it.

It would be better if the movie was 2 and half hours.. movie is waay to short.. that's why people call it mess on RT, they would also include the deleted scenes..

Positive review from Deadline. Didn't let the bait and switch ruin the experience for him.

Actually, based on the studio’s rather bright, very colorful advertising campaign, I thought this might be more along the lines of Guardians of the Galaxy, but it doesn’t have that Marvel hit’s sense of fun. Which is fine.

Then I hope he enjoys it.

I still want to see it, but I don't want to go alone and I don't know if I can drag my brother to see it. He is totally cynical over WB right now. BvS broke his heart in like a 1000 pieces. Batman is his favorite and he was physically upset during the car chase.
