If you haven't seen the movie yet, you shouldn't even be in any one of SS threads because there are spoilers everywhere and we can't help it. Quickly go see the movie bro. I hope you like it.

Run time is irrelevant if you've got the quality to back it up. By all accounts, that extra material would have been Joker, more build-up for the villain and a lot more character moments for the Squad. Who doesn't want to see that?

People LOVED The Dark Knight and it was almost two and a half hours long. The Dark Knight Rises was almost THREE hours long and it's still generally appreciated.

I remember when I first started following this movie I expected it to be at least 2hr 20mins.
I would have been happy with 2hr 30 mins as well.

I really think they were worried after BvS, CW,X-Men, that fans would get tired of the 140 to 150 minute cbm..sad.

They had to cut out of that stuff so the movie could be "fun"

particularly as this is a movie that has like 9 co-leads. they cut out all the depth.

Just a few posts and you have already got an official warning and now your second in post acknowledgement in a thread for your attitude. Read around and get used to people before you decide to start a fight with everyone....you may last longer that way.

I'm not fighting, i'm talking. I mentioned it would be nice if people used spoiler tags, since there's no warning in the title. Someone asked me why i was here and i simply answered that this is a speculation thread, without any spoiler warning. There are threads that specifically state "spoilers", so i avoided them. It seems you're allowed to spoil in all threads. I just didn't know that. How is what i'm doing bad in any way?

Its amazing the domino effect of BvS.
If they released the 3 hr cut it maybe gets MoS rt scores at least.

They probably don't meddle with Suicide Squad as much either.

I guess the good thing from all this is at least Johns is in a more powerful role.

The Enchantress was part of the files on Task Force X and it has never been established if kryptonians are invulnerable to magic but there really isn't a reason to think that they are.

But, anything is possible if they didn't establish it.

Doesn't even have to be that long, 135 minutes would of still been perfectly digestible for general audiences and you can squeeze a fair chunk of stuff in an extra 15-16 minutes.

Mine would be "I love this guy, he's soooooo INTENSE" in the club scene.

God , the shot of Deadshot with the mask on in the bullet rain just kills me everytime.

With the background music, just perfect.

My second favorite visual was Katana from behind walking to the chopper, just cool.

If this was all stuff kept under wraps and the public was left unaware, I imagine Warner Bros would proceed as usual with the rest of the DCEU. With all this being public now, one would hope that they take a different approach. Hope being the key word.

Damn, sounds like there are metric TONS of unused footage for this thing. It'd be a crime to not show us at least some of it. This movie could have easily used another 20 minutes added to it to flesh things out.

Hateful 8 held my attention for every minute of that 3 and a half hours and I wouldn't change a thing about it. I'm speaking in extreme case scenario of course but if a movie that long can hold my attention, a 150 min movie should be able to do that NO PROBLEM

This is what I've been saying about WB, they seem scared of not only thier fans but of the general audience too. You can't please everyone WB, sometimes you just got to let it ride

WB should know, better than anyone, that people aren't gonna skip a movie with Batman/Joker/whatever popular character in it because it's too long. They will go see it, especially if people around them say it's great.

My favorite was the scene of him extorting the prison guard, specifically when he held his ring out for him to kiss then he got all giddy when he did it

"I can tell you meant that!"

Which now I'm getting mad it wasn't followed by the brilliant "I can't wait to show you my toys" line. Now WHHHHHHY would you cut that? Seriously?!
