i like him as well. it's a difficult role to stand out in a group of such larger then life characters when you are the straight man. his acting sold me on him and june - him i believed that he cared and was in love.

Gotta say though it was weird that it felt like (to me) he had the most dialogue/attention besides Harley n Deadshot.

What I did like about his character were his interactions with both Harley and Deadshot. lols

And Harley does and pouts...

And Harley turns around to face him. "We're bad guys. It's what we do!"

Oh man. I feel like I should see it again...maybe this Friday after work just so I can enjoy the parts that stood out for me the most and the more I think about them, the more I love the stuff I enjoyed. It makes me spend less focus on the negative aspects instead of feeling like I was cheated and yes that's how I felt when all the stuff was cut for the TC. But anyways... take it or leave it, I'm going to keep enjoying the awesome stuff I can't help think about...especially the moments that made me lol'd a lot. haha.

Really liked Flag too. I also bought he cared for June which given the short screentime and the snippets of scenes they had was miraculous for the actor to achieve

After letting the film sit with me for a few days, I kinda really wanna see it again. I liked it alot after my first viewing but I didn't necessarily have that "wow! I wanna see it again!" feeling. But letting everything marinate, I'm actually really craving it now. Anyone else feeling that way?

Yes...cause I feel that due to the editing and pacing that hurt the film, so much flew by me that it didn't give time for me to let it sink. Maybe its because I was so anxious to see it and knowing all the nonsense stuff going in might have played a hand in making me feel mixed about the whole movie. It was one of those blink and you missed it kind of film. Mind you, the only standouts that knocked it out of the park were Harley, Deadshot, Batman and Flag with June (not when she was Enchantress) and the Joker with a few others after them.

After seeing it for a 3rd time yesterday, I couldn't help, but to cringe for how bad a villain Enchantress and her brother are. When her brother [BLACKOUT]got killed[/BLACKOUT] and she screamed "Brother!" in her language, that was just horrible. I can't believe how they could allow such a bad villain to be portrayed. And what was with the ridiculous dance-like moves and waving? They really should have kept her first form and not allow the abomination that followed.

And what was with her saying "You don't have the balls"???? You have a supposedly 6000 year old goddess and all you could think of is this? What did Ayer smoke before writing this?

I REALLY liked the movie, but I hadn't seen such a bad and cheesy villain in a long, long time. It truly pisses me off, because there are so many cool aspects in this film and the villain is far below anything else (quality wise) in the movie. I can see why they excluded most of the scenes regarding Enchantress from the trailers.

Considering how VERY late in the game we finally saw Enchantress' final form in the marketing, I'm really wondering how much of that was part of the re-shoots.

Honestly, I'd like to believe EVERYTHING you mentioned was the result of the re-shoots and studio ****ing things up, but that's probably wishful thinking.

You know whats funnier? WB didn't have the balls to come to the realization that no matter how stupid the line was in the film, it easily could have been worthy enough to be cut. I would have done it...lols.

I think the final fight was part of the re-shoots. The lighting during that fight scene made everyone a silhouette so we couldn't see their faces. It was probably done because not all the actors were involved to do the re-shot scene. This gif is from the ballroom blitz trailer and it looks like the fight was originally going to be different and not just tons of close ups in fast motion.

I believe the fight originally had Katana fight the Squad under the control of Enchantress.

It would be the most hilariously **** if WB doesn't release a directors cut for a movie that deserves a cut...meanwhile they've released a directors cut to a movie that didn't make it any better.

Agreed. I would be surprised if we didn't get some kind of extended cut but part of that is wishful thinking on my part as well. Regardless, there is money to be had here and since WB is in the business of making money, well...

Agreed! But thing is, if we got the version that was intended to be the version instead of what we saw, there may not be a UC. This movie definitely deserves one for sure though.

I would be inclined to agree but look at what happened with BvS. WB is so unpredictable at this point.
