Would you guys be opposed to changing the title of the sequel to "Task Force X?"

I was just wondering if maybe Justice League might start with the team mostly already.

I thought maybe Batman wanted the files not to help track Barry and Aquaman down but that he might already have and was going to use the files as proof that he would protect them.

I don't think Justice League will start with the team formed mostly. Snyder said the movie is pretty much going to focus mostly on the recruitment aspect. Seven Samurai comparison.

As for the files, if you are a detective and you know someone already did research on something you are looking for, then you shouldn't solely rely on the research yourself but instead you should approach the person who already did the research and know things you don't know or won't find if you do the research yourself. So I am pretty sure Bruce Wayne needs more information about these metahumans and he knows Amanda Waller has the information so he makes a deal with her. Chances are he won't find the same information Amanda Waller found if he did the research himself.

Would you guys be opposed to changing the title of the sequel to "Task Force X?"

Maybe. Just because it sounds like a Marvel thing. Like I feel that I have heard that before either in the MCU or Fox's X Men universe.

Faraci of all people is now discrediting the "open letter". So can we all pretend that embarrassing piece of BS never happened, now?

Batman is alone at that point with Wonder Woman, he just started the process of recruiting the others and that's why he needed the help of Amanda Waller who obviously did some research on them. Bruce Wayne is simply stating he and his (future) friends will do the job the Task Force X is supposed to do. TO DO SOME GOOD. That's my understanding.

He tells Lex he still has 'friends' at Arkham. Then again he tells Waller that he and his 'friends' will shut it down.

Maybe he's talking about the Justice League.

Or maybe there's some sort of Bat-family out there. Oracle? Nightwing?

Just got back from seeing it. I liked it. I was really entertained. When I walked out of BVS, it was virtually nothing like what I was hoping it would be, even after the onslaught of poor reviews, but this pretty much hit the mark for me. The villain was basically s***, yes, but lets not act like that's a remotely unique situation for a CBM in this day and age. Besides, all the worthwhile villains in this film (with one exception) were the heroes.

I was entertained. IDGAF about the hyperbole.

looking at this from afar, to me both sides are really loving this blog post.
haters: here's the proof how f-ed up WB is! WW's gonna be sh-t!
fanboys: here's the proof how f-ed up and biased haters are! conspiracy!
in another words, business as usual. carry on :yay:

:lmao: :lmao:

I understood it differently. I am under the impression that he is telling Waller to shut it down because they are not needed. Meaning the Justice League will protect the people.

If he means the Justice League will shut down the Task Force X, then it doesn't make sense to have Suicide Squad sequels.

I'm trying to figure out what was so "entertaining" to those that enjoyed it. The action sequences were poor. The action was bland. There were some character moments scattered in there every now and then but most everything was forced, unearned, and not organically developed.

At 37, I'm not old by any means - but I'm starting to wonder about the younger generations' taste. It seems like structure and coherent story-telling just isn't important. Just give'em "cool characters" laced with a splash of meta-dialogue.

Not even remotely fair. Wonder Woman can kill her with one hand.

How about this.. say the women of task force x battle the men of JL while the women of JL battle the men of task force?

So example I like to see Harley Quinn vs Batman
Wonder Woman vs ...say Deadshot

Or they just take turns lols fighting so and so until the moment comes to kinda team up to take down the main villain

Just throwing it out there. ..it doesn’t necessarily have to be like that...who knows it will never happen probably

El Diablo was my favorite character in the movie and I wouldn't mind if they bring him back in the sequel.

Wonder Woman can solo Task Force X.

Everybody on the Justice League could solo Task Force X. Even Batman can solo Task Force X with enough prep time.

It's not fair. Unless they get some top tier villains like Reverse-Flash and Vandal Savage the Suicide Squad doesn't stand a chance.

I'm.....surprised. Glad you enjoyed it!

Seems there has been more positive reaction to this movie from fans than BvS.

Different nations and cultures. If Suicide Squad gets released in China Enchantress will probably be an alien.

Now I want to see the middle eastern version of the elevator scene.

I want to see the scene when they give everyone their stuff back and Harley looks through all of her clothes, picks a black sheet and goes "Yep! I'll be wearing this!".
