The domestic total is somewhere around 256 million after 3rd Saturday and the overseas total after 2nd Thursday was 271 million and after the 3rd weekend it should be close to 303-305 million with a new release in Germany. t:t:

wow, what a horrendous movie experience this movie was! I'm shocked how bad this movie really is. The critics are more than right! This was "Batman vs. Superman" horrible!!!! All these people in this forum who claim that this movie "is not a perfect film and just has some flaws in it" are totally kidding themsevles. THIS.MOVIE.SUCKS!

Just a mess from start to finish...WHERE WAS THE PLOT OR MOTIVATION FOR ANY CHARACTER? What about these sentimental pseudo-character development scenes of Deadshot and especially Diablo?! (ridiculous! so cliché! so bad!)

poor Jared Leto and Viola Davis. I feel embarrassed for both. They are so much better than this horribly crafted mess of a movie! Suicide Squad deserves Cara Delevingne! This woman cannot act at all!

This was definitely my last DC film. This is downright offensive for audiences! Do these filmmaker believe we are all dumb?!

....and there is the problem with the modern day internet poster, thinks everyone is wrong but themselves. What;s really bad is I've read so called professional critics reviews like that and they're just downright unprofessional.

Suicide Squad was flawed but it was a ton of fun, a solid 7/10 IMO. Which is a solid rating for any film.

You know what made me really dislike this movie amongst many things?

Right before Diablo sacrificed himself, he yells "I won't lose another family!" It just reeked of ripping off Guardians when Groot sacrificed himself and said "We are Groot." It was just indicative of how lazy and uninspired this whole thing was.

Yeah he was a character who I had zero interest in going in but leaving I loved him. I thought he was the heart of the movie.

He was indeed. I loved the fact that it was Diablo who was not disillusioned and it was him who made the other squad members come back to their senses. It really shows that he knew what absolute power can do and what are the consequences of it. He owned up to his mistakes and redeemed himself by sacrificing his life. That was a nice character arc for him and I loved it.

Did any of you guys notice Joker beating up someone with the baseball bat in the background of the scene when the Joker's thugs are strapping Harley into the chair in Arkham Asylum?

I remembered the set pic of him holding the baseball bat, and looked out for it. You can see him bashing someone or something on the ground while they strap her in. Makes me really mad thinking about how much footage there really is out there. It looked like it had the potential to be a really intense scene for him. Sigh.

I know! Some people complained he didn't look scary. The scene with him hefting that baseball bat would've helped with that.

Agreed lol. Not as bad as Snyder movies but still very bad. Waste most of good actors except Margot robbie.

I think in the sequel the Squad should have already completed numerous missions and they get rewarded for each mission to the point that their stay in Belle Reve hardly feels like a prison sentence. Boomerang has a fully stocked bar in his cell and he spends the entire mission drunk.

While we can all chant "good riddance" all we'd like to other non-fans, it's simply not a good trajectory to have three poorly received (or at least divided) films in a row.

There's only so much goodwill the audiences can provide for a brand. At some point it's just going to collapse and that will be disastrous.

Sorry who's chanting good riddance? I thought most people here know the flaws and issues behind the scenes and demand the films to be director driven and high quality in the future, while enjoying the movie and the success it's getting.

Btw I'm one of those who are prepared for Gal and Patty to get slaughtered by the critics next year
