They better not make a big deal out of this franchise with Part 2 in 2012.
It's been a great 4 years!...![]()
Because despite all the money Twilight has and will make, it doesn't strike a cord with audiences like Harry Potter did. And that's why Twilight won't be remembered after it's done.
I am sad at the B.O. potential Breaking Dawn has, but knowing mostly no one gives half a **** except for women and knowing the franchise won't carry on for future generations makes me happy. Harry Potter will continue for decades and centuries like Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and others will.
Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves here.

Harry Potter? **** no....It might endure for a decade or so, but once its fans grow up no one will care

My theory for Twilight's success is simply down to the lack of franchises for women. Us guys are spoiled for choice, every year we get dozens of movies thus fan bases for each franchise is diluted because of those options, but don't have that option and when that rare franchise for the ladies comes along the sisterhood unites. That's why it's so huge.
my kids (if it ever gets that far) will not be reading JK Rowling...theyll be reading proper fiction and literature
