No you don't understand. You keep talking about a story that DBZ is Loosely Based on as if that means the character of Goku has been around scince, whenever the hell that story was made. And what everybody else is saying is that you don't know what the f**k your talking about. Again, did you actually read the original Story? The only similarity between the two is that there was a boy with a monkey tail who sometimes turned into a giant monkey. Was this giant monkey boy from another planet? Did this giant Monkey boy's hair turn gold and gained the ability to destroy planets? No. So they aren't the same. And it doesn't matter because were talking about two different things!!!!! Simple. Oh course he was. Goku is based of Son WuKong (not named Goku...that means rice...I know I have taken Japanese). Second Goku San as you said is not his real name, San means Mr or Sir. Third all heroes are based off of Homer who created Achilles and Odyessius, the first heroes of inspired texts. If you had any knowledge beyond your cartoons, i.e. read a book...you'd know this. All modern hero archatypes are based on Homer's Illyiad and Odyessy
