Supergirl Supergirl General Discussion Thread - - - Part 12

When is something going to happen with Russian Kara? They seem to have forgotten about that plotline completely. Were they planning on doing that last season but decided to go in a different direction with the alien persecution and Agent Liberty?

I'm thinking as soon as they have beaten Lockwood is when Red Kara is going to show up. They may be given a moment to congratulate each other before she appears and starts wrecking things.

I think she will come into play next year in the second half of the seas. I think they’ll have either defeated Agent Liberty or he’ll be a wounded animal who’ll come back in the second half of the season.

The synopsis for the Elseworlds crossover has been released.

Arrowverse Elseworlds Crossover Synopses Reveal New Story Details

Calling it right now, but I am pretty sure that this is how Superman will be featured in the three night event:

1. "The Flash"- He and Lois will only be present for the scenes that take place on the Smallville Farm.

2. "Arrow"- Black Suit Superman's appearance (possibly from another Earth) will be the only time that we see Tyler show up in the episode.

3. "Supergirl"- Our first and only time seeing our traditional superman in action where he is involved in at least TWO major action sequences (one that takes place at night and the climax when they all go up against the Black Suit Superman)

God your such a glass half empty person :funny:

Filtered photos of traditional superman with the whole team in action and at night and were from the episode of Flash

Really? Well that is interesting. Still, the only action sequences that I expect to see him in are from the two that I mentioned above but it is nice it is nice to know that we will get some traditional superman action before the finale.

Though it is confirmed that regular Superman will be in the Flash fighting alongside Supergirl, Flash, and Green Arrow against something, at least we have Superman that is shown in the proper light. I believe this will be the answer to the problems in the Justice League movie when it pertains to him.

About #2, you're thinking that this will be the only time Superman is in Arrow. You have to wonder if regular Superman will also be in Arrow as well.

Don't forget that Lois will only be in both Flash and Supergirl.

Yes, they are fighting with someone CGI. Regarding the episode of Arrow I do not know, but everything indicates that only the evil version will come out and I guess towards the end of the episode.

I wonder if Dr. Destiny is in all three parts of the crossover or only in both Flash and Arrow parts. If Black Superman does come out, he may take out Dr. Destiny.

At some point between Arrow and Supergirl, the Book of Destiny has switched hands between Dr. Destiny, Supergirl, Superman, and Black-Suited Superman.

Bit of a spoiler clip from the crossover.

Is it me, or am I seeing Smallville versions of characters. Stargirl and Canary, I think. But that is definitely Hartley's Green Arrow suit. I think that is Huntress from Arrow before Firestorm. Not sure who the guy is after Firestorm. No idea who it is before The Ray's helmet. Does look like the Smallville Cyborg hoody in front of Cold.

There is going to be some insane analysis of that clip.

Imagine if Adam West’s Batman is from Earth-66 and Lynda Carter’s Wonder Woman is from Earth-77.

I look forward to the crossover hype in Arrow and Flash.

Whomever heroes they killed off in Earth-90 are the ones never used again.

1990 Flash could either 1) stay on Earth-38, 2) stay on another Earth, or 3) sacrifice himself just like the Crisis comics.

Don't forget Reeves & Cain Superman.

I would like HQ's of the Superman pics used in that poster pls, CW.

In a way Superman is featured prominently with himself and his black-suited counterpart.

If you're wondering about the robot on the very left, it's rumored to be Amazo. Amazo is one of the few that can go toe-to-toe with the entire Justice League on his own.

Imagine this fight with Amazo as a preview to what would it be if all the heroes, including Legends of Tomorrow, battle the Anti-Monitor.

Amazo would be a pleasant surprise! I'm guessing that's who the guy in the mo-cap outfit they were fighting in the set pics was.

Yep as I think it would go down like this in the Flash part of the crossover:

-Barry and Oliver switch realities.
-No one from their respective teams believes them.
-They travel to Earth-38 to see Supergirl and meet her cousin Superman and Lois Lane.
-Together they battle Amazo and defeat him. I hope that Cisco, Killer Frost, and Elongated Man are involved in this battle. Hopefully XS as well.
-Something in the end causes them to go to Gotham City to meet Batwoman.

I hope the 1990 Flash appears at some point.

I remember when last years crossover had some surprising appearances.

Yup. First one which came to mind was having William Katt, star of the 1980s superhero comedy series "The Greatest American Hero," as the pastor for the WestAllen wedding. When the first photos for Crisis on Earth-X came out, I took a look at one photo set inside the church and thought, "That guy looks awfully familiar. Like a certain former TV hero from a long time ago."

Sure enough:

(Side note: Since his character was never given an actual name other than 'pastor' or 'priest,' I've been referring to him as Reverend Hinkley as a nod to his best-known role.)

I remember when skeletel Metallo appeared in Earth X I was like Wow and F*** yes!

Is the first part of the crossover meant to be Flash heavy? Is that why Flash is first?

Because if not, and if it plays out like last year's crossover where it really could have been an episode of any one of the shows, then why not have Supergirl first in its normal Sunday night spot? Why does Supergirl have to be last?

So I'm guessing that the first part will focus more on Flash, the second more on Arrow and the third more on Supergirl?

Wow, that is almost Avengers 1 quality poster right there.

Of course my only gripe is that I wish Superman was featured more prominently in the poster but you guys already knew that.lol

I thought that the Elseworlds poster looked as bad as the Avengers poster. A Photoshop mish-mash.
