Ah so that explains the face off between Superman and Hank.

There's a lot more than that as producers said that there is a long history of dispute between Superman and Martian Manhunter over what he did years ago prior to this episode. I was hoping it would be about the Justice League since they're both founders.

Basically it's two people who are not happy to see Superman like Martian Manhunter and Alex Danvers.

I'm not sure any other Justice League members exist in this universe yet, unless they retcon Kara's line from the pilot "Earth doesn't just have one hero anymore". I think it's easy to think Batman could still exist as he protects Gotham and for many is an urban legend. But the rest I think could be a stretch.

Also we know Hank has been in hiding for a long time so I don't think he was ever in the Justice League. Although he does know Superman as he said that Super,am found utmost hilarious that he can't read Kryptonian minds.

Definitely. The only other founding member I could think of is Green Lantern, since Superman was off planet last season he could have had an adventure with the Corps.

Interested to see how this is going to play out and on what terms Superman leaves.

They could probably get away with Green Lantern yeah but I think if he's likely to appear it will be on Earth 1 with Arrow and the Flash. Especially given the little teases to Hal Jordan. Tbh I don't get why they haven't just let them use him as he's been off screen now since the 2011 movie.

I assume he'll just go back to Metropolis.

Introducing a Green Lantern for "Earth-S" wouldn't stop them from introducing a Green Lantern for Earth-1, Earth-2, Earth-3 or any of the other known Multiverse Earths that make up the wider and collective Arrowverse.

Of course not, never said it would but I doubt they'd do two Green Lanterns at once.

They're doing two TV Flashes and two versions of Steel (Commander and Citizen) simultaneously, and have said that it wouldn't be out of the question to possibly see another version of Supergirl, so why would multiple Green Lanterns be off-limits?

Never said it old, saying I simply can't see it.

Maybe re-read my posts

^ I get what you're saying, and I'm trying to get more information about why you think the way you do.

I think it was Guggenheim that said they won't be doing a Green Lantern because they can't afford the effects that would do the character justice.

I'm fairly new here, and this is just my observation... but from what I have seen from this thread and the Arrow Discussion thread, you really like to argue and play Devil's Advocate don't you?

I don't 'like' to argue, but, at the same time, I'm unapologetically a realist who deals in face-value stats and facts moreso than cynicism and speculation, and I also tend to 'stick to my guns' when I feel like the factual and statistical evidence supports my stance on things.

I also don't care if I'm seen as a contrarian for the positions I take.

when does this episode air in the U.S. ?

What about your track record of been wrong? You'd think you'd learn something from that.

The problem I have isn't that you stick up to your guns it's the way you come across with sticking to your guns. It's like you're adamant that the opposite opinion can't be right.

I like to think that, if its possible to have another Batman on TV (making it three versions of live action at the same time), him on Supergirl works perfectly compared to him on the Arrowverse.

I don't think he exists yet, but once he does, he should be pure Year One Batman. Bare basics, only experimental versions of his toys, maybe only has a vechile but it might not be the Batmobile. And the episode on him, would be about Supergirl, AND Superman as well, their reactions towards this guy and how he fights. Which kinda ties into how different National City/Metropolis looks compared to Gotham, and why Batman needs to exist. Can be a two-parter!

That could work, personally though my ideal Superman and Batman start at around the same time. I think I'd prefer it for Batman to have been doing it about the same amount of time as Superman with Batgirl and Robin along with him.

Given Kara's line to the Master Jailer that "I thought masks were only popular in that other city," I've figured Batman probably already exists (possibly along with a couple members of the Bat-family), though probably still primarily on an urban legend level. I'd like to think he and Superman are quiet allies at this point, though.

I totally forgot that line, I really would love that to be the case with him and Batman been quiet allies.

Because I haven't seen Supergirl past a couple of episodes, and have only been rewatching and watching the whole season leadign to the S2 premiere, obviously I never knew that the line existed. Maybe Batman does exist. If he does, kinda interesting to know how both Supergirl, and Superman, and the DEO feel about that guy.

they most likely disapprove of his methods
