HANK AND M’GANN GET TO KNOW EACH OTHER; AN ALIEN FIGHT CLUB RUN BY ROULETTE GRABS SUPERGIRL’S ATTENTION — When Kara (Melissa Benoist) and Alex (Chyler Leigh) investigate the murder of an unregistered alien, the trail leads to an alien fight club run by Roulette (guest star Dichen Lachman), the ringmaster who commands aliens to fight in mortal combat for the entertainment of rich humans. While trying to stop the fighting, Supergirl and Martian Manhunter find themselves up against a surprising opponent. Meanwhile, Hank (David Harewood) is thrilled to have found another Martian and tries to get to know M’Gann (guest star Sharon Leal) better. Supergirl takes Mon-El (Chris Wood) under her wing and begins to train him. James Marshall directed the episode written by Paula Yoo & Eric Carrasco (SG204). Original airdate 10/31/2016.

James Marshall is no stranger to the Superman mythos. He directed 26 episodes of "Smallville" during its run, and also served in various producer roles.

Among his most memorable episodes: "Nicodemus" (S1E15); "Heat" (S2E2); "Insurgence" (S2E13); "Rosetta" (S2E17, in which Christopher Reeve made his first appearance as Dr. Virgil Swann); "Hereafter" (S3E12); "Transference" (S4E7); and "Arrival" (S5E1).

Good to see the Mon-El antagonist thing lasts one episode. I know people are saying he'll play into Invasion because of the Daxamite role in the original story but as far as I'm aware only Kara is crossing over.

I think a Team Super might be forming with Superman, Supergirl, Martian Manhunter, Mon-El, Miss Martian, Alex Danvers, maybe Guardian, and perhaps Red Tornado if they decide to rebuild him.

Could always be that it was never Mon-El in that ep, in the first place. He was just suspected because he broke out around the same time that someone attacked the President with vaguely-Kryptonian powers.

Yeah, we've had a couple of shots of filming, but nothing official. And no, we have gotten promotional photos for Episodes 1, 2 and 3....maybe next week.

I wonder if the alien fighter is a Dominator. Looks like budget is not an issue for makeup FX. Both Supergirl and Flash are each fighting alien monsters in their series.

Mon-El and Maggie Sawyer are becoming great additions to the show.
