Man this show is so good. I have yet to be let down by this show. It just gets better and better each episode.

It was a good episode and im glad that they made it to where the events wouldve happened any way possible even if Dean hadnt traveled back.

Well what about Sam and Dean's uncle that was mentioned in a couple episodes? Mary's brother supposedly. The one that had her grave made.

See that's what I really loved about this episode. The acknowledgment of fate. Dean's appearance was inconsequential to it all. Everything happened like it was supposed to happen.

...Except for John's choice of vehicle. Dean was supposed to be there to choose that car apparently. t:

Another impressive episode. This show just continues to fire on all cylinders. The way everything was all tied in was fantastic. I had no idea where it was going or how things were going to work out and loved every minute of it. I look forward to SN now as much as I do to Smallville.

So, are they planning on doing a bad episode this season? Or are they all going to be a kick-ass as they have been?

I'm very glad that they didn't say, or imply, that Dean is the one that caused Yellow Eyes to go after his family. It would make everything feel so cheap. But by saying that is was going to happen, regardless of the details, it's still all good.

Mary's family would've went after YED anyways seeing as how Samuel was already tracking him before Dean arrived.

This season is kicking so much ass right now. Last night's episode was incredible and heartbreaking at the same time. Dean basically had to see and be involved in the few days that destroyed his chance at a normal life. The scene with Mary saying how she wanted out of hunting and Dean telling her not to get out of bed, were awesome. I know it would never happen, but those scenes should give Jensen Ackles an Emmy, hell this entire season so far should definitely earn him a nomination, the guy is doing it all. This right now is probably the best show on television, can't think of any show I look forward to watching more than this one.

Also, think it's very interesting how it seems each Winchester has made a deal to save another;

Mary for John, John for Dean, Dean for Sam and Sam said he tried to make a deal for Dean.

another great part in this episode was when Dean was in the diner with young John and he asks him about where he can get cell phone reception and John thinks he's got a Star Trek communicator LOL

I loved the 'Back to the Future' refrences. And I especially loved seeing YED again. He's always been amazing.

Yeah, they get the perfect actors to portray Azazel. Even without seeing his eyes you can just TELL it's him.

I love how the whole beginning scene in the Diner mirrored Back To The Future, & the first person that YED was possessing was named Doc Brown.
