Great premiere. Surprised to see Mark Pellegrino guest star. I wonder if Cas is really dead or maybe he's just deep down in the body fighting for control with the leviathan? Can't wait to see what happens next. This episode alone was much better than most of season 6.

Amazing episode last night! I also agree that I loved it more than the whole Season 6 tbh. I can't wait for the next one, Da Devil is BACK! Even if its only in a dream, Icannot wait to see Mark playing Lucifer again! This bit with him was cool to see in the first episode!

Agree, I loved his acting near the end where the Leviathan/s take over, so different from the "old Castiel".

Crazy episode. Not the strongest premiere they've had but it good, definitely better than last season's.

The best premiere IMO is either the season 4 or season 5 premiere. I loved both. But season 7 premiere was pretty good too, definitely better than most of season 6.

Well it's been stated that the bible got a LOT wrong and only a few things right so I'm guessing he would be one of them. I'm not sure where we would fit in this universe where even god is a deadbeat dad and his angels are all petty bratty kids.

It's been scientifically proven that he existed. So if you don't know something, don't assume.

It's pointless to even bring Jesus in the show, especially if they dont explain what is the real God doing or where he is.

Pretty good episode, only thing that bothered me was the whole hype over Castiel being the new God and its over with already in the 1st episode. I was looking forward to seeing how that would have played out throughout the whole season. But this episode basically should have been included in season 6. It screamed "The Man Who Knew Too Much pt. 2" but I believe that's what they were aiming for. I expected more from Death as well, but his appearance was enjoyable. I imagine Dean and the others were probably scared ****less standing inbetween Castiel and Death. I'm looking forward to the next episode. I'm trying to treat it as the official season opener.

And fantastic title card by the way. Hands down the best one so far.

Maybe that will happen if the ratings continue to be like this. If the ratings stay this way hopefully the new guy at the CW would realize that it is at a ****** time slot

The whole 9pm slot is getting way to over crowded so that's why SPN has been suffering.

How about moving either show to a time slot when their demographic (18-35) isn't out clubbing or watching the new movie premiere...objectively speaking ratings would go nowhere but up.

Great premiere, it played like a season finale.
Love the new creatures, love the return of the arc angels lucy and possibly mike. Love Death.

My only problem were some of the plot/character contrivices. Like why piss death off when you could use your working relationship and simply call him and tell him what's up would have went a lot better imo. At the very least he would have given them some advice. Hopefully season 6 will be just a bad memory.

Misha playing Leviathans was creepy as ****. It was like a mix of Jim Carrey and Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka... but evil. It's about time they did a villain that was truly creepy. Keep it up.
