Survivor: One World

I really think the female tribe made a mistake tonight at tribal.

...and Colton cannot get off of my tv screen fast enough! :cmad:

Colton..... be less annoying or leave, please. :o

Unbelievably foolish move by the women last night in voting off Nina. I was beginning to think in tribal that Nina might have a chance at turning the tide until Jeff (in a pretty blatant way) defended Kat by helping her argue that she was young and athletic. Nina was right in the post interview that the girls are going to get demolished by the men, it's only 3 weeks into the season and it's pretty much a forgone conclusion. I'm curious how the girls alliance of 5 will hold up after the next sacrificial lamb (Christine) is voted off and all they have left is Monica...who I think is one of, if not the strongest female in terms of ability and strategy.

As for the men, almost nothing was seen of them outside of challenges except for Colton, and (s)he makes this show difficult to watch. His over-the-top queen routine has almost ruined the show for me and I find myself hoping he'll get injured so he has to leave. At least the women finally showed some intelligence and made him (her) leave their camp. I liked Sabrina's comment about him having more estrogen in his body then testosterone.

I'm looking forward to the rain coming in next week's episode. It's really going to bring to light the weaknesses in some of the girls alliance of 5. (I.E. their inability to handle the extremes). My only hope is they don't focus too damn much on Colton again...though I'm sure they will.

This cast is REALLY starting to become bad. I'm talking Nicaragua and Fiji bad. Especially when you look at who is emerging with power following the first six days:

Colton and Alicia.

If these two are the ones who are running the game until the merge....this could very well turn into the worst Survivor cast in history.

The women seem to admit defeat and Colton's brilliant strategy to assure male dominance: "Let's vote out our strongest players!"

Colton is such a cliche stereotype. It's like the producers go out of their way to find the most weird, over-the-top stereotypes they can. It's annoying. :down

Is it too much to ask for the producers to give us a respectable gay man? I mean, seriously.

There have been respectable gay men on the show before but this time they really went over board...

Two shows in and I still don't have anyone to root for which is unusual as I'm usually very quick to pick a favorite. This cast needs to get it's act to together as so far the gameplaying has been very sub-par. I can't believe that the other men would align with Colton, he clearly has no loyalty to any of them and would jump ship right away at a merge... I´m just hoping that they are playing along and plan to blind side him in order to get rid of the idol.

The girls may or may not have made the right move, sure Kat is a ditz but the next challenge may be of the running variety. As for the challenge Kat really did blow it but for all we know most of the others would have been equally bad at this, it's not like they proved other wise :)

All of this is what I've been thinking since about ten minutes into the premiere. I could just feel it. I knew it was going to be a bad one. If Colton makes it anywhere close to jury, I'm declaring this season an utter failure and the worst season yet. Right on the spot.

You know, say what you want about bringing back old players, at least Coach made last season entertaining.

Given how dreadful the past two episodes have been and how odious almost all the new contestants are, I'm taking back pretty much all I've said about returning players.

Unless their names are Brendon and Rachel (both of whom would fit in perfectly with this cast), but thats another show entirely.

What is Colton's beef with Bill? Ugh, it is so sad that he some how got power. This is going to be worse than Nicaragua. :(

Hopefully once Matt is gone (who is apparently too stupid to realize an alliance of four is not the majority in a nine person tribe), alliances will shift.

Tarzan: Clearly we need the guy who has an alliance in the other tribe.

That logic makes almost as much sense as voting out your strongest players at the very beginning of the game.

None of these men are winning this game, they are dumber than rocks.

I feel like the women are going to come back and outnumber them at the merge. Vanuatu 2.0 except the women will stick together this time.

Is this episode in any way an improvement over last weeks? Because if not, I'm not going to bother.

Michael doesn't seem entirely dumb neither does Jonas. As for the women sticking together, I don't see it happening so long as Alicia is running things in the women tribe. Unless there is an alliance shift in the women tribe, they will not be a successful post-merge alliance.

I don't see Alicia making the merge. I think there's going to be a power shift amongst the women or they'll just get sick of her and dump her.

If they fall in behind Sabrina they could run the game.

...so not only is Colton an over-the-top stereotype but he's also a GAY REPUBLICAN?!

I'm also glad to see Matt gone. He was easy on the eyes but his personality sucked.

I think he was just arrogant. Usually the young, strong guys go to the merge just by the merit of being the young strong guys and the tribe needs them.

That being said, it is stupid to vote out the stronger players first. I don't get what the "Average Joe Alliance," is thinking. I am hoping it is just Matt's arrogance was really off putting and now that Matt is gone, alliances will shift and shake up.

Matt was arrogant and I'm not sorry to see him go but he was the only one I saw that showed any back bone with the women. Not only do they go into the mens' tribe (for fire, warmth, etc.) but they ***** when the guys demand something in return. I suppose the women can keep doing that until someone "man's up".

Colton not playing the idol at tribal means we're guaranteed to see him for at least two more episodes (unless he's completely blindsided)...that sucks.

Having strong guys around isn't as important this season as it normally is, because A: the challenges are all gender-neutral and B: you can form alliances and gain numbers outside of your own tribe.

Smart move by Colton, pretending you're going to play the idol often means you don't have to. I still don't think he'll last long though, he keeps painting a big target on his back and nobody really likes him except maybe Tarzan.

I think they're setting the women up for a comeback story. The only guy I can see winning at this point is Jonas.

Colton saying he's tired of the way Bill acts and talks? LMAO, pot meet kettle, kettle, pot. Colton needs to leave soon or I'm going to stop watching the rest of the season.

Not sorry to see Matt go, but as it was said earlier, he was the one that showed back bone towards the women, now I'm afraid they're going to walk all over the men.

Funny fact, Colton was complaining about Bill using the word "bro," too much. Bill actually satirizes people who do that in one of his comedy routines as the character "Bro-y, Broenstein."

Google him. He's actually pretty funny.

Colton the caricature. I'm pretty sure he's racist as well.:BA

They should vote his ass off next but I'm pretty sure they're gonna keep him around for the drama factor.
