Survivor: One World

...it's so nice not having to suffer through Colton being on my tv.

At first I thought he was just kind of odd, and in this game, odd is good but the more I see him, the more Tarzan is like a little child; if he gets his way or you agree with him, he's okay...but the minute you do something he dislikes, then he pouts and stomps off like an immature little kid.

I've come to the conclusion that I'd never make it to the finals of Survivor. Not because I'm antisocial or can't hack the physical aspect of it; but because I'm honestly baffled by some of the decisions they've made (and sickened by some of the people's actions) and don't think I'd be able to keep my temper/emotions in check.

In the end, I think the girls are about to run the table unless Troyzan can continue to keep his immunity.

Probst on next week:

A shocking blindside eradicates any sense of security in the Tikiano tribe.

My guess is one of the immunity idol holders are going to get blindsided, either Kim or Troyzan.

Yep, the girls are gonna turn on the men.

I was sad to see Jonas go, as I liked the dude. Kim will win this this game. Bank on it. The only people she's not aligned with now are Tarzan and Leif.

I wonder if the all-girl alliance targets Troyzan not realizing he has the idol and ultimately Kim gets voted off by the leftover votes.

As far as Jonas going home, I initially felt bad but then quickly got over it because I don't feel sympathy for anyone that sat silent at the tribal where Bill was attacked by that *****e bag Colton.

It really seemed strange to me that the guys would so easily vote of one of their own. I would have been incredibly paranoid about a girl alliance and would have angled to get Alicia out first or Christine.

They sure seem to be setting up a Mike blind side which makes me think that he won't be the one going home :)

It's not like the guys staying together was ever really a realistic prospect. Mike and Jay have no motivation to stay with them because they're bottom of that group. Then you've got Tarzan, the loose cannon, who is a completely unreliable ally. Leif isn't particularly trustworthy either. And even if they turn it into a guys vs girls game, that only makes it a tie. The guys went with a "Salani vs Manono" mentality because that's where the the numbers were, and probably just hoped if they gave the Salani girls a little trust it would be reciprocated.

It was a pretty sedate episode last night, though there were a couple head scratching moments. First, what the heck was Christine thinking separating from the group during the reward challenge and heading back early? Is she intentionally trying to kill her chances at staying or was she trying to get a head start on the puzzle? If so, perhaps she should have said something before running off.

The second was Tarzan's questioning of Chelsea before tribal. Seriously...asking her if she doesn't like him because of a bad plastic surgery experience? Two issues with that, #1 is that's a vain friggin man to think she gives a **** about his profession and #2, I don't see ANYTHING wrong with Chelsea's appearance (her enhancements look fine to me). Kudos to her for the way she reacted afterwards, using her head instead of reacting emotionally and trying to get people to vote for him.

Other than that, I didn't see a problem with them voting off Mike and solidifying the girls' numbers even further. Now they could easily vote off another girl if necessary and still have the numbers advantage.

Looks like the girls alliance is definitely on. The signs were there and it's looking like most of the guys will be picked off.

Oh yeah ... and Tarzan is nuts. I thought he was just a little quirky, but he's starting to seem like a real nut case.

I could see Probst back at the production area laughing hysterically that Tarzan would think Probst is being played in any way. Tarzan is a complete moron.

The guys this season have been incredibly fragmented and stupid. I would never have gone along with giving the girls the number advantage last episode since even if I was in an alliance that I trusted I still wouldn't want the temptation of an all girl alliance being there to ruin things for me.

How stupid was Troizan in just swallowing it when the girl said that Mike was angling to get rid of him? If I was in his spot it would have set of every alarm bell in the world!

Kudos to Kim though, she is really playing the game well, she just has to hope that Alicia and Christina don't realize that they are at the bottom and might switch to a four way alliance with the last two males (it's the smart move for them).

Alicia is the only one that's shown she'd actually go through with switching alliances. Christina, for all her talk and antics, has basically followed the herd mentality just like the others...even when her head's been on the chopping block. They're both deserving of being voted off...Christina because she's useless and Alicia because she's just a trashy piece of ****.

The guys started getting played from the beginning when they started giving in a letting them have fire and stuff. They should have been playing hardball all along. Coming back to bite them now ...

Wow, Jay is an idiot.

Why are these votes so all over place? Tarzan voting for Jay pretty much blew my mind. That was completely lost in the edit.

Remember, Tarzan swore off the men's alliance? :funny:

Tarzan gives me the creeps.

Jay is a clueless moron; every sign in the world was there that he wasn't secure in that "alliance" with the girls. Aside from Kim, who's playing a great game, I think Troyzan is probably the most deserving of winning right now...he's at least attempting to get the others to see what's been happening the last couple weeks.

I have to really try to remember when there were two bigger Survivor non-factors in Leif and Christina; completely oblivious to what's going on around them and blindly following whatever anyone tells them to do. What's even worse is they know there are other people that the jury would dislike even more than them, so they don't even have the prospect of going to the final 3 as a scapegoat.

Oh, and Tarzan is just a brain dead moron. Aside from the pile of **** Alicia, he's the one I want to see go the most.

Looks like my prediction a while ago is coming true, the women are running the table in this game, the men are all completely useless.

I'm thinking the final three will definitely be some combination of Kim/Chelsea/Sabrina/Kat. Although I could see Kim or someone else trying to cut Sabrina early since I think she'd be far too likeable to sit next to in front of a jury.

Kim is crafty. I wouldn't be surprised if she started carrying Tarzan along to be her own personal Philip Shepard. Once all of the other men are gone, she can start saying things like, "Alicia is a bigger threat at challenges. Sabrina is too well liked." And before we know it, Kim has carried Tarzan to the final five, controls the votes and can put him right next to her in that final TC.

I gotta admit, Tarzan in a final three would be hilarious.

It really is incredible that Troyzan couldn't get the men to all vote Kim, it made sense for each and every one of them to go along with it.

Jay really was clueless in this episode, though I think it may be more of a case of denial that he had managed to screw things up so completely.

Tarzan is playing the "I'm pathetic" card and is trying hard to appear to be no threat, even going as far as voting against he men in the hopes of avoiding drawing any attention.

Lief is pointless, he's the biggest male non entity that I've ever seen on the show. The guy has never done anything to advance his cause that I've seen and doesn't really seem to have any plan going on.

Kim must be laughing her ass off as Chelsea and Sabrina mouth off to future jurors while she comes off smelling like roses. This is Kim's game to lose.

Also, why the hell are Christina, Leif, Alicia and Tarzan helping Kim, Kat, Chelsea and Sabrina? I never really understand how players can be so oblivious to the fact that there is a pecking order in their alliance and so scared to try to make a move. I suppose it is basic cowardice. As long as they are in power and safe, they will do nothing. Then they feel betrayed when the main alliance (whose made it very clear that there is a pecking order) votes them out.

I don't know why Tarzan thinks that the Philip Shepard strategy is working for him. Hell, the Philip Shepard strategy didn't work for Philip Shepard! And at least Rob gave him the indication that he is a part of the alliance. The girls aren't even doing that.

As for Christina and Alicia....sheesh, what useless players. "I know! We'll make a move when they have an unbeatable majority! That'll show them!"

Plus, dumb move on the women's part to try to flush the idol against Leif. Troyzan was never going to give his immunity idol away (if he had one). All that they did by giving three to Tarzan was announce that he is next.

Finally, producers, take note. The hidden immunity idol is dead. You will never see a huge shock from an idol like Rob being ousted in Heroes vs Villains again. It is common strategy to split votes. Everyone does it. Just get rid of the idol.

Why am I not surprised that no one decided to go with Troyzan?
