Survivor: One World

They've never given the jury any criteria by which to vote. Survivor is a social experiment, and part of the game is to make people like you even after you've voted them out. A really good player can do that. Richard Hatch could. Brian Heidik could. Russell? Great strategist, zero jury awareness.

Personally I disagree. I think it should be based on who played the best game, now who is disliked the least. Russell should really have won over someone who did next to nothing.

But.. that's the way things are, people are going to almost always vote for whoever they dislike the Least.

But here's the thing, Russell...and I agree he deserved to win over Natalie or Sandra (though not Parv), had as Harry said, no jury awareness. That is part of playing the best game. Russell not only voted players out, he did it in the meanest fashion possible, treated them like ****, made their lives there hell and lied to them when he really didn't need to. This type of stuff embitters a jury.

Wow, while I haven't really defended Christina this season, I didn't really like the way she was treated as an outsider in her own tribe...that being said, after tonight's episode, I clearly see why her tribe treats her that way. They friggin TOLD her "we're putting your name down in case Troyzan plays an immunity idol, but don't worry, we're not voting you out". What kind of bull**** is that? What's worse is she friggin went along with it, even after they asked her if she was okay with it. Why didn't she say "put Tarzan down instead"? But nooooooo, this clueless moron is so damn out of touch with the rest of the people it's obscene.

I still despise Alicia and desperately want to see the "wild" pig they found start munch on her one night but I couldn't find fault with her saying that she treats Christina like one of her special needs students. Actually, the fault I would find is that most of her students probably would play a better game than Christina at this point.

Kind of sorry to see Troyzan go because it was refreshing to hear him call people out at challenges and during tribal.

Lastly, I loved the look on Chelsea's face at the end of tribal after the votes were read. She seemed completely crushed that someone put her name down.

Anyone have or know of an accurate boot list....I just can't finish this season now, its now gone from bad to awful now that Troyzan is done. I've been pretty displeased with a lot of the seasons lately but this one is up there for worst ever now.

Had Christina flipped last week and Tarzan got his act together, they could've got Kim out because of the split vote. The coconut chop came one week too late. Now that it's been spelled out for them that Kim is gonna win, they've got no excuse for letting it happen.

Me and the Woman were sitting there with out mouths open.. WTF expressions..

As you said.. she was told, we are going to throw 2 votes her way in case the Idle is played.. but dont worry we are not voting you out... and she was fine with that..

WTF.. ?!?! how slow is this woman.. (Career consultant btw)

She is my eye candy on the show but.. wow.. is she really that dumb ? Maybe she really does not want to make "waves" so she keeps her mouth shut....

Also that Little blonde woman who's IQ is not that much sharper.. (ya I could not care less about their names at this point).. love how upset she got because she does not want people thinking she is just a follower.. yet that's all she does.. Troyzan's truth hurts I suppose.

If anyone does find one, PLEASE DO NOT post it here. I do not need the temptation of looking at it or want to find out early because some clown gives it away accidentally. :cmad:

Don't worry, there's absolutely zero spoilers for this entire season.

It really is incredible how complacent many of the players are this season, it seems like no matter what situation people find themselves in they don't try to improve them...

There have been several moments when people could have switched things up and improved their lot, the fact that none of them has done anything to do so is just pathetic. At this point there is no doubt in my mind that Kim deserves to win this season, the other players are just way to passive.

The main reason I think Sabrina will not win and she is really the only one left I think who can compete with Kim to win it. I just don't see her pulling the trigger on a Kim blindside and will for some reason think that Kim will take her to the end which would be crazy since Sabrina is the only person who could give Kim a run for her money.

It really is pretty mind-boggling.

Who was that old casting director that they fired for giving Parv (her friend) preferential treatment? Say what you will, her casts were a hell of a lot interesting than the ones of the past 4 or 5 seasons since she left.

I think one of the biggest problem with this season is the initial men-versus-women divide. It resulted in potentially strong players like Matt getting targeted early plus it resulted in alliances based not on any real trust but on gender lines.

Erika Shay

That's the one. She may have hand picked the cast from her friends, but frankly, I don't care. Her casts were almost always interesting and dynamic. Same cannot be said since she left.

I agree Matt, I didn't care one bit. Seems like the casts have been steadily going down hill since then.

Kat getting kicked out tonight was hilarious. Completely redeemed this season. The most inept person in Survivor history. She's 22, but she acts like she's 12.

Cool beans, *****! Hope that was fun and exciting for Kat.

There is definitely an evil side in me because I got a lot of enjoyment listening to Kat whimper as she was walking out of tribal.

I hate the age argument she kept trying to use. Although I think there's definitely something about life experiences and learning lessons with age ... I'm not sure how much of that really applied with Kat. She just seemed flat out dumb and dippy to me.

Funny seeing her get blindsided, but she's so harmless and naive that it kinda makes you feel bad laughing at her. She's clueless but I don't think she truly has a mean bone in her body.

Got to admit ... I didn't feel bad laughing :cwink: Although my wife did kind of give me "a look".

I agree, she really doesn't seem mean at all, though. I did find her increasingly annoying as the shows went on and I always find it hilarious when players find blindsides soooo awesome ... except when they're on the receiving end.

Aww I liked Kat a lot, she was hilarious. :( Tonight was the first time in a long time that I've been surprised by the vote. And the first time in the season, I think, that Kim didn't get her way.

I want to root for Christina and Tarzan, but they're not really giving me many reasons why I should.

Christina seems like a nice girl, but she's just a turd where this game is concerned.

I'm rooting for Sabrina.

I feel like if anyone out there made Survivor memes, Kat would be a goldmine tonight.

"Blindsides are fun!"....... gets blindsided five minutes later

I doubt Sab will last much longer. Alicia or Kim will recognize her as a threat. I'm happy Kat is gone she's an idiot.
