Survivor: Samoa

I felt so sorry for him. That was a scary situation...

Sorry, but the mullet is too much for me.

I don't like Shambo either. At all. To be honest, there is really no one I like this season. This cast is all around terrible. I'm sort of rooting for Russell just because it would be funny for the jury to realize they gave an oil tycoon the million dollars.

Also, forgive me if I seem insensitive to Russell's plight, but I always feel somewhat annoyed when they don't vote someone out at TC. It just feels like an anti-climactic tease.

Agreed. :csad:

That was heartbreaking to see him leave the game that way.

I felt sorry for him. And then I saw him crying like a drama-queen. It's okay to be bummed, but dude you're a grown man. It's not like someone died. :whatever:

I really wish there was a TC so I could have seen Monica get voted out. At one time I was willing to tolerate her valley-girl deal, because she was pretty attractive, but she's not even eye-candy anymore. The elements have completely ravaged her looks, which was the only thing she had going. :oldrazz:

And what was that part with Erik or whoever talking about praying to Samoa? Um, okay. He seems like he's going a bit nutty.

I think anyone who has tried as hard as Russell to get on that show (only to be pulled for medical reasons) would be incredibly upset. His reaction was completely understandable.

While it was bad what happened to Russell, I didn't find it to be the scariest moment in Survivor history, that will always go to Mike in Australia, dude fell into the freaking fire!

I think Jeff might have meant the scariest moment that he has been there for and seen. He wasn't standing right next to Mike when he fell into the fire. He was right there with Russell though.

Poor Russell.

It's clearly obvious that Laura/Monica/Kelly are going to join up with whatever Foa Foa members are going to make the merge and vote out the Erik/Dave/Brett/John/Shambo alliance.

The Foa Foa's will be sitting pretty come the merge. I wouldn't be surprised if two or three, if not all, of them ended up being the Final Four.

In a way it was more scary then what happened to Mike since it looked like Russel was out right dying there while Mike was running around and though he was in pain it clearly wasn't life threatening (though a worse thing to have happen to you, assuming Russel really is ok).

I seriously thought Russell was going to die, right there. :csad: You could tell even Jeff was shaken by the whole thing.

I'm still mad those jerks voted off my Ashley

Jerk or not, Russell S. didn't deserve to go out the way he did. The way his eyes didn't move an inch in that one scene, that was some scary ****. I can scarcely imagine how Jeff must've felt, being on-scene and somewhat responsible as he was.

That said, this episode was such a bore, as this season has been so far. Gabon was the last really good season. This season, I can't even muster up the energy necessary to root for anyone. Either they're too unlikable for unlikability's sake or too idiotic for seemingly no sake.

Oh please, like someone else said above, when Mike fell into the fire, big deal, he got dizzy for one second and paid for it when he got burnt.

Last episode, you straight up saw someone almost die. That was the scariest moment ever on Survivor, hands down.

There was something terribly wrong, from the moment he stopped pushing the round thing and he was just standing there disoriented. Then he passed out, stood up passed out again, then passed out for a third time after simply sitting up with his eyes ****in open! If that wasn't the closest someone's been to death on Survivor, I don't know what is.

I don't know how anyone could say that was boring.

The season will pick up. It's been raining for the last two episodes for crying out loud, no one has had a chance to start **** or gossip because they've all been huddled up trying to keep warm.

The bolded part is why the last episode was boring. If Russell hadn't passed out, I would've passed out from boredom by the time that episode was over. :o I hope the merge is very soon. The rain has really slowed down the game.

Also, was I the only one who thought Foa Foa was actually on the verge of winning a challenge for once?

Probst revealed in his blog over at EW.com that they ended up giving them the pizza, although he didn't specify whether they just gave it to Foa Foa since they were ahead or if they gave it to all of them. He said they just didn't have enough time in the episode to show them eating it.

As for the rest of the game, I've read that:

There's one more tribal immunity challenge, and then they merge at twelve, which would be a first.

The seeds were planted this past episode and we saw in the previews for this weeks episode of Russell and Laura talking to each other. Like I said, I'm thinking Lauren/Kelly/Monica will hook-up with whatever Foa Foa's make the merge and take down the guys alliance one by one, with Shambo probably being the last one standing.

Of course we were given all that buildup of Shambo bonding with the Foa Foa's, so I'd bet they grab Shambo and use her to take out the three girls (Laura/Monica/Kelly) then VOILA - the final four will be all the Foa Foan's! :hehe:

Well, judging by the previews for next week my thoughts about the merge will be true - the Galu's are going to vote themselves out and the Foa Foa's are going to sail to the end.

The merge portion of the game is going to be Tocantins all over again.

The merge is more than welcome, I'm tired of seeing Foa Foa get beaten every week.

Now that we'll be getting some head to head challenges from the galu boys, we should see some more interesting developments, Dave got pretty mouthy in the challenge, I'm curious to see how he will rub people as people start forming new alliances.

I missed tonight's episode...who got voted off?

A little late on this, but i felt the host handled Russle's medical situation pretty well

Nothing much will come of it from what we know of, they'll be merging next week.
