Survivor: Samoa

This leader thing went to Russel S's head. He really believes he is in charge , it could cost him , idk .

I didn't agree with the move either.

Sure, I'm not on the island with them, but who cares how she acts as long as you win challenges? Yasmin was doing great.

Yes it has. The leader thing doesn't make them immune from the vote...so he could easily be voted out.

If anyone should have been kicked out purely on their behavior at the camp site, it should have been "Shambo." First she lost the fishing kit and then she let a chicken go....:whatever: Plus, she constantly talks trash about her own people.

For competition alone, Monica blew it though. What a useless valley-girl! At the tribal, she couldn't even admit she screwed up. And people also quickly forgot about that other pretty-boy who lost to Jaison in the swimming competition on the first day and just lay on the sand. He was paddling that water like a sick dog.

Can't wait to see their comfort items get soaked next week. :awesome:

Galu are idiots for voting out Yasmin over Monica. Like someone else said, who cares if she's annoying around camp just deal with it and vote her out later! She had been kicking BUTT in the challenges since episode one.

Ah, I guess that's where Yasmin's social game bit her in the you know what. Monica made the friendly connections with her tribemates and that usually wins out no matter how useful someone is in the challenges.

I think it might have been good to get Yasmin out, they've still got 3 extra players. Yasmin personality seemed like it would clash with most people, plus get a strong player out now before the merge while you still have numbers. Monica be an easily manipulated vote later on down the line too to keep the better players in the game.

Russell's let this whole leader role go to his head, the leader shouldn't and won't be the one to pick who gets voted off, I see him getting voted off fairly soon if Galu goes on a losing streak, I could see it being Shambo then Russell easily.

No, Monica is the type of player you NEED to get out pre-merge along with Laura and Kelly because if you don't they're not challenge threats nor are they big personalities that you can hide behind.

They'll just glide through to the end and before you know it, they'll be answering your questions while you sit on the jury and they're in the final three.

Where was Shambo when Erik was digging for the HID? Looking for more firewood? Christ. :whatever:

It seems I'm in the minority regarding Yasmin. Upon her de-torching, I fisted the air in ecstasy. That's how much she annoyed me. Undeniably strong though she was in challenges, Yasmin seemed just the type of person I'd take great pains to avoid in real life, and that impression was based solely on what television provided me. I can only imagine what she must've been like at the camp were I there. The other girls are equally intolerable with their sickening cliqueness, I admit, but I'll take them over Yasmin anyday.

In the end, it was her mouth that shot herself in the foot. I was shaking my head at the whole high-heels ordeal; J.P. does not possess powers to overturn voting results, you silly girl, and no number of high heels will change that. Also, what was all that rubbish she spouted about not doing anything because one little misstep will have them prey on ye, so therefore, I shall do nothing? What rubbish. Challenge-competent she may very well be, but mere brawns do not a good Survivor make.

That said, Monica was laughable at the immunity challenge. Is she asthmatic? Why the obvious breathing exercises? Why, then, did O Great Leader Russell not choose to sit her out? Speaking of whom, he needs to wake up to the reality that his leadership position does not at all provide a formidable shield behind which he can hide and dictate who should do what, and stat. His arrogance is fast eclipsing that of the other Russell, and I don't know if I can bear so much of it in a single episode and not explode from sheer rage.

So, Foa Foa finally won immunity. Good! They deserved the break, after so long a losing streak. Funny how so much exposure on the losing team eventually makes the viewers more sympathetic to their plight and, thus, more inclined to cheer them on over the other team. Then again, rooting for the underdogs has been commonplace, for their triumphs are that much sweeter. And less of Russell H. didn't hurt, either. One could only take so much of him in a single episode, let alone several.

Next week's episode looks more interesting. Someone getting all up in Russell's business? Oh, this oughta be good. No-one gets all up in Russell's business and gets off scot-free; not yet, anyway.

Where was Shambo when Erik was digging for the HID? Looking for more firewood? Christ. :whatever:

He was looking for it while the others were at the challenge. Notice how he finds it before they come back with the chickens.

Oh, yes, that makes sense. Thanks.

My point still stands, however. Erik wouldn't be so bent on finding it had Shambo not confirmed his suspicions. Otherwise, he would've found the HID long before now, much like Russell H. did.

It seems Shambo has caught teh stupid from overlong exposure to the Galu tribe. Why, in the name of all that is holy, would you blab about that which you ought to keep close to your chest, especially among those who would as soon cast you out as look at you? My faith in Shambo is fast fading.

Are you watching the same Survivor I am? Shambo didn't catch the stupid. She was never smart to begin with. She's thicker than a ton of bricks. Having the body of an ox makes her useful for brute force challenges and that's about it.

I'd have voted out Monica too. Yaz is annoying at camp?...boo hoo, she fights hard in challenges.

The thing was - she wasn't even annoying at camp that we saw, she was just lazy or didn't do too much work. I don't know why those people got so bent out of shape. I didn't see Kelly, Monica, or Laura doing much work and Shambo, the resident tribe work horse didn't seem to have a problem with Yaz either.

Yaz's explanation as to why she does little around camp made PERFECT sense though. You do all the work around camp, but in this game people are always looking for someone to prey on so as soon as you mess up once around camp, they'll use it against you, so why go out of your way to do unnecessary work?!

That was some foreshadowing in that scene with Natalie and Russell H on the beach. Him saying in confessional that she's stupid and he'll just drag her to the end then cutting the confessional saying that she likes for people to underestimate her and she'll just continue to sit back and work on her personal relationships.

I'm thinking Natalie and Russell will against each other at the end.

Foa is going to have to try really hard to catch up but I doubt they will be able to .

I wasn't exactly a fan of Yaz, but of course you're right. It's a clique mentality just like in a highschool. You have the pretty Club-Med early 20 somethings sticking together and then you have Yaz a black woman in her 30's from Detroit. They excluded her from the beginning and it had little to do with work-ethic. The only ones I ever see doing any work around the camp is Erik, Dave and occasionally Russell when he's not touting his imaginary leadership skills.

And Monica? She should've at least had the humility to admit she screwed up in tribal. She thought she did well? Is she delusional or did her team-mates give her fake reassurances?

I'm sure her buddies Kelly and Laura told her she did get a great job.

Point. That wasn't even her first strike, but one in a too-long line of strikes. The fishing gears, the chicken, the ragging on her own teammates... all reflected badly on her, and in that case, I can sympathize with Yasmin's decision to be more passive than active around camp, for people sure like to nitpick the littlest of things.

Knowing that, it is curious why Galu didn't pick up on those facts to immediately vote Shambo out, being an outcast as she obviously is. Moreover, her current standing in the Galu tribe is by no means the fault of the other teammates alone, as she would have us believe in her interviews; she didn't seem to have made much of an effort to fit in--in other words, adapt--and so, she deserves part of the blame here, too.

I daresay not just their tribe, but most if not all Survivor tribes, are generally more concerned with the short-term rather than long-term question, as in, "What have you done to me lately?" Leastways, it provides the lulz. :funny: After the "oh, the humanity" moment on the viewer's part, of course.

Yasmin revealed in her post show interview that LAURA was really the person running the entire Galu tribe.

Don't read if you don't want to know ANYTHING about next season:

Apparently, and these are just rumors that are floating around the net, next seasons 20th anniversary All Star edition the players will be separated into tribes of Heroes vs. Villains. Here's the supposed tribal breakdown:

Heroes
Tom Westman (Palau)
James "J.T" Thomas (Tocantins)
James Clement (China, Micronesia)
Rupert Boneham (Pearl Islands, All Stars 1)
Colby Donaldson (Australia, All Stars 1)
Cirie Fields (Exile Island, Micronesia)
Amanda Kimmel (China, Micronesia)
Stephanie LaGrossa (Palau, Guatemala)
Candice Woodcock (Cook Islands) UHM WHAT?
Jessica "Sugar" Kiper (Gabon)

Villains
Rob "Boston Rob" Mariano (Marquesas, All Stars 1)
Randy Bailey (Gabon) VOMIT
Ben "Coach" Wade (Tocantins) VOMIT
Tyson Apostol (Tocantins)
Russell Hantz (Samoa)
Parvati Shallow (Cook Islands, Micronesia)
Jerri Manthey (Australia, All Stars 1)
Courtney Yates (China)
Danielle DiLorenzo (Exile Island) THIS CANNOT BE TRUE, SERIOUSLY?!!
Sandra Diaz-Twine (Pearl Islands) NOW THIS MAKES NO SENSE! SHE WAS NOT A VILLAIN

There are boot spoilers, but I won't post those.
WTF? Sandra in the Villains Tribe? The fridge has been officially nuked.

Also I'll say it since you won't regarding boot spoilers (Hey, this is hidden under the "Spoiler" tag so don't blame me!)
J.T. apparently made an idiot of himself (You just won your season without a single vote against you and you do another one?) and Rupert came home sporting 20+ lb. weight loss.

There is a entire bootlist floating around out there with everyone's boot order and the F3.

Let me just say, with the exception of one person in the F3, it will be a less then appealing F3, well for me anyway. Actually, the people that make the merge is an absolute letdown with the exception of I'd say, four people.

Now this is all depending on everything being true.

Haven't seen a full-fledged bootlist. Then again, I've stayed away from Survivor (and thus the spoilers) forever and a day now. Do tell (via PM). I know one of the supposed F3's identity - not so much the other two.

Strike that. I found it.

I believe that after watching this episode. I thought it was wierd that they'd eliminate Yasmin before Shambo. I don't trust bootlists. None of the ones I've seen have been even close to accurate.

I just think they really dropped the ball with next seasons cast. Too many people from the most recent seasons. Three people from Tocantins alone is ridiculous then four people from Micronesia. Also, not enough people from older seasons and why do they keeping shunning Guatemala?

I'm hoping for some surprises once the cast is released, but I doubt we'll see any. That cast list seems pretty solid.

We'll know in a few hours whether that bootlist is accurate .... but probably not (unless the first guess is lucky). Anyone remember the red-x Gervase from the first season? OMG U GUYS GERVASE WINS!!!1 :hehe: :cwink:
