Survivor: Samoa

John finally came to his senses, why he waited till the second vote, I have no idea.

The only thing Laura had going for her was decent cleavage. Monica knows she's in trouble, she needs someone to do her work for her, and that person is gone.

Monica's not a threat so they'll pick her off later. I bet Dave's the next to go. He's the strongest player remaining on Galu.

(This will be his face :awesome: when he is blindsided)

I havent watched this week's eps, but Laura goes tonight? Man.. wonder how Russell survives

Told you peeps the purple rock is the tie-breaker!

DING DONG THE WITCH IS DEAD! I loved her shocked look after the revote when her a** was sent packing. I also cackled right along with Shambo when Laura lost the immunity challenge.

I hope Russell and Shambo stick together. She seems like the one person that he actually isn't just using.

Am I the only one who doesnt get the Laura hate? I must have missed where she was mean to shambo or something. Speaking of shambo she's the next one that needs to go

I used to Dislike Russel (for getting rid of the Asian chick) and I might again at some point But right now I kind of respect him. Say what you will but this guy is smart. Always thinking, always looking. (to find 3 Immunity Idle's and to play people the way he does). Really right now if anyone deserves to win this game it is him. No one else is doing anything to advance their way through this game.

After last nights episode this seasons winner has to be either Natalie or Russell.

I don't see how anyone else can possibly win.

It's amazing how quickly the tables have turned in this game. Being petty and short-sighted absolutely destroyed the Galu alliance.

NUMFAR! DO THE DANCE OF JOY, FOR THE BICH-FACE HAS MELTED!

Now, what?

Now that Laura is gone, praise be to the cosmos, I hope we won't be seeing a comeback of the early, self-overconfident Russell. All right, he has not changed by much, but Russell the desperate underdog is more fun to watch. That better won't have changed. His biggest threat is out of the picture, and so is his reason for remaining 24/7 game-alert. Man better not become complacent and thus, boring.

With all frankness, this episode was like a second orgasm after fifty; the climax I wanted didn't feel as hot as I liked. I knew it was pretty much a given that Russell, bless that man, would find the idol again, what with his having brains among the brainless. Still air-kicked and penguin-clapped in glee like a fool, regardless. Finding the idol FOR THE THIRD TIME simply baffles me, yet it makes sense. Maybe all the past Survivor contestants have been that dim. Have idols always been this easy to find, minus the seasons with Exile Island?

John has been somewhat less of a sheepling than the rest of Galu, so him flipping was of no real surprise to me. Laura losing the immunity challenge early into the game sealed it. Less of givens, moar unpredictability, please. This constant everything's-going-as-planned is getting old, and I root for Foa Foa! For now, anyway. Actually more on whichever side Russell's on, even if it's on his own.

My admiration for Natalie goes up every episode. Love that woman to bits now. She gave her all in the reward challenge, hanging just with her back knees while John hardly did half that effort! I am hoping to see her at least in the final three, and Russell if possible. And she slept with Laura right after they got back from last week's TC, with emotions no doubt running high on Laura's side. I'm surprised Nat wasn't set on fire in her sleep.

Shambo, you were an interesting oddity, for a while. Now, you're just plain annoying. Go away. Dave is still dum-dum. While still an non-entity, Brett was looking mighty calculating in his hammock. Or that may be his I-worry-I-might-be-next-and-I-don't-know-what-to-do face. Or I could go on and on speculating because we know near NOTHING about him. Mick and Jaison, blah. Erik's comments at TC were great, as usual, and Kelly looked stunning.

Monica wasn't as much of a laze-about as I thought. Ultimately, however, she failed spectacularly. None voted for John and Foa Foa now knows it. Bar Russell, the rest of them should now know better than to trust her further than they can throw a tractor.

At this point in the game, the jury is shaping up to be very bitter towards the final three. Especially since it's clearly going to be completely stacked with Galu's controlling the votes on who wins. Are they going to reward Russell for playing balls to the wall. Granted, I like the guy but nothing he's done strategically has been anything stellar, it's just been plain old common sense.

My answer - Nope. Russell has played the game, but he hasn't placed people on the jury to where they are going to want to vote for him. He's going to almost surely go back on his promise to John this episode, there's no way he's going to vote out one of his Foa Foa members next week, that would be beyond stupid. He's also almost sure going to backstab and kick Shambo to the curb soon as well. That's two people he's crossed, not to mention he's pissed off Kelly, Laura, and Monica as well. He'll have a hard sell at the FTC.

So if it's not Russell, than who? NATALIE. Russell's underestimated her from the get go. Remember that sequence during the pre-merge where Russell stated that Natalie was dumb and he could easily manipulate her? We then get a confessional immediately after directly from Natalie stating her strategy. She's going to let people underestimate her, which she's fine with, while she works on the soical relationships needed to win the game. We haven't had ANY other player this season clearly state what their strategy is and watch them execute it like Natalie has.

What better way to end the season then have the very person that Russell called "the dumber long haired blonde" that he underestimated from episode one, come back and trump him against the jury? I wouldn't be surprised if the final three were Natalie, Russell, and then some third irrelevant person (Mick, Brett, or Shambo?) and Natalie sweeps or gets the majority of the votes to win.

Of course I could be wrong and the jury could swallow their pride and vote for Russell to win, but I wouldn't bet anything on that happening.

I'm going to have to agree.

Have you been watching the same show I have? Russell is using everybody to improve his position. Russell needs to get one more Galu out and he's free and clear. The only way I see Russell not making it to the end right now is by major blindside and it's gotta happen either this coming week or the week after that. He's riding high right now and thinks he's got the game wrapped up, as long as things are kept secret, maybe discussing it at a reward they can catch him unaware.

As for a final tribal council, I can't see too many people being bitter at Russell, he's played the game, had his back against the wall and made the good moves. If they were bitter at anyone it'll be Shambo and Jon, those are the two that have betrayed the current jury members. Hell, I think Eric is rooting for Russell going by his reactions at tribal.

I'm pretty sure I have been watching the same show. :oldrazz: I just think that he and Shambo seem to genuinely support one another.

People had the same thoughts and opinions about Stephen last season up against the jury and look what happened, they roasted his butt over an open flame.

What I'm saying is that the jury is not going to be kind to Russell at the end, if he makes it. That's almost a guarantee at this point.

Now, this can be taken with a GIGANTIC grain of salt, don't read if you don't want to know anything spoilery....

Apparently Russell has been going around telling some people, and the All Stars cast next season that he did not win Samoa, that he didn't get one single vote and that "the little blonde kicked our a****".

Of course he could be lying through his teeth, but of all the people to say he lost too, he picked Natalie?!

Read at your own discretion.

Something to that degree. True Dork Times says that its Natalie/Mick/Russell F3.

Not surprised. No way Laura or Kelly would vote for Russell. If I were a betting man I would have put a little money on Natalie even before I saw these spoilers.

To a more important point... If Russell is blabbing about who won, can't he get in trouble with CBS? Didn't he sign a confidentiality agreement?

I take back half of that, he isn't going around telling people that. That's what he told the All Stars 2 cast when they asked him if he won. Apparently his exact quote:

"The blonde kicked our a****, none of us would have thunk it"...

My guess is that Russell will keep Shambo around simply because he knows that if there is one other person on the island that is less liked than him then it is Shambo. If it were a final two this season then the dream player to be up against is Shambo since I doubt she could beat any of the others, even Monica would probably beat her in the vote.

In Russell's shoes I would be looking at trying to get into the final three with Shambo and Jaison, those two are the ones he can probably trust the most as well as stand the greatest chance of beating.

However, if the previews are right and he's back to being his start of the season jacka** then he won't make it all the way.

Laying in the swing, grabbing the flags was an interesting challenge. They even had to blur out Natalie's boobage..lol
