The movie is being screened at Camp Pendleton right now. Smart move. This is no doubt the kind of movie that's going to appeal to gung ho Marines.

Is anyone following the AICN reader Q&A with Stallone? It's pretty entertaining, Edgar Wright gets in a Q on day 2.

Day 1
Day 2
Day 3

He kind of blasts Van Damme too. Sly isn't shy about telling you how he feels!

thats awesome....thanks Whiskey, I don't go to AICN at all, but thats the type of stuff they should be doing more of

I love that Stallone is all about interacting with fans on the net.

It favors him, he's a lot smarter than people give him credit for due to his appearance

I'm still hoping for a Demolition Man 2. I could totally see it.

I'm liking those interviews, Sly sounds like a really cool person. I feel like posting this response from him since I think it is something a lot of people on the internet should read, not necessarily just the Hype either.

"I know what its like to feel anger or resentment towards my fellow artists, but one day I had an epiphany, that this had more to do with me than the subject so I turned it around to a code that works for me. I believe all people should really walk a mile in someone’s shoes as the cliché goes before they begin to throw stones because its such an incredible waste of time that can be used in a more constructive fashion. You know, it’s a simple rule I use when I look at another man’s painting and before I’m critical I say to myself ‘Can I do better?’ If someone gave you a camera or script could you do better? Or better yet, maybe you should try it on a smaller scale and see the effort that goes into filmmaking. Its laborious and sometimes soul searching. No one intends to make a bad film. There are so many circumstances that can make a film go off track, therefore I believe people should be given the benefit of the doubt as much as it may bother your sensibility, an example being you hate the director on principal because you think he is a lightweight. When films don’t work the artist feels worse than any hater could make him feel. Its something they have to live with. Enough said on that."

I agree on what he says about film....any movie is subjective to the viewer...even those straight to TV syfy movies....a lot of people may dismiss them, but I appreciate the intent

The main reason I like that quote is because he sticks it to all the fans who don't have any constructive criticism. The ones that reek of jealousy and just trash other people's work as if they could do better.

I agree. I don't think critics think they could so better, they're just their to review the film, but fans themselves are more radical.

I really liked the first three Q&As but day four and five wasn't as good. There was a few good questions in days 4&5 but I skimmed over most of the questions and a couple of times I skimmed over the answers also. Very cool of Sly to do a Q&A with the fans.

Dammit, I really want to see that Sly vs. Austin clip, but I know it'll be so much more awesome when I don't know anything about it before hand.

"Because you're smaller!" Hahah That was a funny clip.

I hope we see some Statham and Crews clips, I'm looking forward to their characters the most. Can't believe it's only 13 Days away!! :woot:

Statham:

Pretty sure most of the people who see this will love the idea of beating up their ex's new boyfriend and saying "I told you so".

I'm going to try that line next week at work to see if I can get a raise that way.

Haha, good luck. Let us know how it turns out.

Surprisingly, I've seen alot of previews on channels I wasn't expecting to see them on. Normally it's just been G4, Spike, History, etc...I can remember Rambo not being on that many channels either. But I'm glad to see it getting all the attention.

I've seen three billboards for it in Sydney. That's something usually reserved for Christopher Nolan films.
