Finally saw it yesterday, and it definitely lived up to my expectations!!!! I thought that the Jason Statham girlfriend parts didn't really fit in with the rest of the film, but whatever. What an ending too!! Loved it!!!!
Except the part where he knocks **** out of those 5 nobheads on the basketball court....:woot:

If a sequal is made how about

Micheal Jai White

and the 90's action man
Nicholas Cage...:woot:

We got a buff action star oriented film, but we need young action star wannabe's like Ashton Kutcher? He can barely pull off acting male, much less sharing the screen with Stallone and Statham. That's a no on so many levels.

Yeah, seriously. What on Earth is he trying to turn this into? I'm scared.

He need guys like JCVD and Carl Weathers not Ashton Kutcher. And no Chuck Norris. I can't believe some people stopped realizing Chuck Norris jokes were indeed jokes.

Wow....have you seen 300?

How can you say Gerard Butler doesn't fit and then actually type the names Ashton Kutcher and Shia La Crap?

I'm sure the majority here would say Butler hands down over those two.

Gerard Butler >>>>>>>> Kutcher and Shia. I mean really? You want to put Kutcher and Shia in a film like the expendables?

Congratulations, you've been trolled.

We already know the CIA will be main antagonist of the sequel, and Bruce Willis' character, the main villain. So, how about HIM to play a CIA interrogator?

Is it official that the CIA is the main antagonist in the sequel?

James Woods would be cool. He, Sly, and Eric Roberts worked together in that movie The Specialist.

Sly mentioned that he wants to make Bruce Willis' character the main antagonist of the sequels. And remember the first movie? CIA would eliminate the Expendables the minute they finished General Garza off. Now, they killed Monroe, left Sandra in charge and destroyed the drugs. CIA wants their blood.

I thought Mr Church said the CIA would come after them if they ****ed him over, not the minute they finished off General Garza??

Remember when Ross, Christmas and Yang were deciding wether to take the job or not. Ross said that, the minute the mission was over, Mr. Church would eliminate them to cover his tracks.

But they did complete their mission. Will Church still go after them?

To cover his tracks. He can't risk that they might tell the world CIA hired them.

How would it involve Arnold? Maybe Church hires Arnold's team to assassinate the Expendables.

Trench used to be a member of the Expendables. He's the one who knows them best besides themselves. Who better to hunt them down and kill them for ****ing it up in Vilena. Especially since Trench has a team of his own...

stallone vs schwartzenegger? the screen would combust spontaneously with sheer awesomeness.

I would love to see Tom Berenger in a random role, maybe as another CIA guy (along with James Woods, of course... love that idea).

Since we already have Randy Couture (and I saw someone suggest Andrei Arlovski), I think if we are going to go with MMA guys, I'd love to see Bas Ruten appear as a bad guy.

I love Carl Weathers, but I think I'd like to see him in a non-action role in the film, or limited action. I have two ideas: He can be one of Sly's old partners that he visits in the film and the CIA goes after to send a message to the Expendables. OR He could cameo as Terry Crews's dad. He is 20 years older than Crews, so it's possible. I just think that would be hilarious.

What about a role for Micheal Jai White.....
Or the 90s' action GOD that is......
Nicholas Cage?? :awesome:

The Expendables:

Sylvester Stallone as Barney Ross.
Jason Statham as Lee Christmas.
Jet Li as Yin Yang.
Terry Crews as Hale Ceasar.
Dolph Lundgren as Gunnar Jensen.
Randy Couture as Toll Road.
Mickey Rourke as Tool.

Trench's Team:

Arnold Schwazenegger as Trench Mauser.
Jean-Claude Van Damme as Anton Lemieux.
Danny Trejo as Serrucho DaCosta.
Wesley Snipes as Axel Slade.
Scott Adknis as Steve Carter.
Dwayne Johnson as Clay Jackson.
Bas Rutten as Jack Simpson.

Mr. Church's associates:

Bruce Willis as Mr. Church.
James Woods as Mr. Stone.
Rutger Hauer as Mr. Winter.

IMHO, of course. :woot:

Why would you want someone like Scott Adkins and Bas Rutten in a sequel. Hell, I had to look them up since i've never heard of them.

Scott Adkins is quite famous, and was originally considered for the role of Dan Paine. And did you knew Randy Couture before this movie? Same situation with Bas Rutten.

Never heard of Randy Couture or seen him before this movie. As for Scott Adkins being quite famous, I have a feeling that's only within certain fan circles. I highly doubt the majority of the general audience knows who that is looking at his line of work.

I think the sequel should primarily get "names" unless they're not available. Then Sly should go after the unknown guys to fill in the empty spots that bigger actors turned down.

Anyone want to see Brian Thompson(The guy who play Night Slasher in Cobra) be one of the villian in sequel ? He and Sly can have a rematch, or maybe Arnold can kill him once more.:awesome:
500full.jpg

His death scene in Cobra is also very awesome

Jean-claude van damme as anton lemieux.
Danny trejo as serrucho dacosta.

michael jai white as jack simpson.

mr. Church's associates:

bruce willis as mr. Church.
James woods as mr. Stone.
Rutger hauer as mr. Winter.
keifer sutherland as mr. ???

imho, of course. :woot:

edit. ;)

That list is missing Thomas Jane. FYI.

Others that would be cool to see...

Michael Biehn
Sigourney Weaver (in a background villain kind of role, someone pulling strings and manipulating like Willis was in this)
"Rowdy" Roddy Piper
Keith David
