^^^Not everyone knows. A little promotion never hurt a movie. Especially 'in your face' billboards like the ones that are on the streets of America.

I do agree that an X wouldn't have hurt.

this promotion posters are nothing for the general public. it is just a waste of money. comic book fans already know that this movis is coming in may. so this posters are for the general public. but they fail since people dont know about which movie this is.

I don't think these posters fail at all.

I think they're quite clever, because they're obvious without being obvious. It makes you think but, at the same time, the only characters that the general public might not "get" are Phoenix, Beast and Angel - but even then, most people I reckon have a fair idea of X-Men characters. It doesn't take rocket science aye, you just kinda put two and two together.

When you see the character posters for Wolverine and Storm, it's hard to imagine the other posters being from any other movie - it's pretty self-explanatory I reckon.

These new posters for X-Men 3: The Last Stand sprang up all over the city last night. At first I couldn't figure out what they were for because, especially if your driving, it's hard to see the faces and the costumes were not immediately apparent, nor is there a nice big X3 anywhere, but they looked really cool. *g* I was all "What *is* that?" And then I think I drove past the Wolverine poster and I went "OH!". heh. And oooooh, Angel! Nifty keen, jelly bean. And dude, Beast is Kelsey Grammer?? wow. That's a departure from his normal role.

The teaser for the film can be seen here. It looks spiffy. *g*

general people who will see this posters wont know which movie this is. its simple. the poster are to get people(who are not x-men fans) into the theater.

Those posters are designed and made to create curiosity on people, and to make them wonder "what the f *ck is gonna happen may 26". they are indeed clever.

I dunno....'tis strange. I wasn't overly impressed with it, but I like it a lot better than the Beast one they're pushing so much. Oh well.

Storm is on the cover of everything else, so it's cool. There's no need for overkill this early in the game.

LOL "Take a Stand" sounds like there is an election coming, having to vote would scare me...
That's exactly what I think it will happen with a lot of people... I have a friend that got surprised that Anakin lived at the end of Revenge of the Sith, so I know there are people not all that aware of fantasy films, that will get curious, and most will be because the posters don't look like the average movie poster, so it will catch the atention of those who get the impression that they could be about something else, like perfume or clothes advertising.

I think Storms poster is one of the best, plus she is one of the movies biggest stars so it's kind of strange that nobody has spotted a billboard of her poster or what not.

Maybe no one is selling her poster on ebay cause, face it... A huge larger than life size poster of Halle Berry??? Who wouldn't want that?

That is deffinately not a hup cap. Look at it...what car has a hubcap like that? Look at it closer...so not a hubcap. Plus you can see a hyrdolics rod to the right of Rogue...cars don't use hydrolics. Towards the back of the so called hubcap. It extends further back unlike a car's axel.
