When do you suppose they'll release Hi-res versions of these on the net?

I don't know if this has been mentioned (because I don't feel like scrolling through all the pages) but Angel, Beast and Jean Grey/Phoenix posters are already up in various spots around NYC. You can see Jean Gray and Angel's on 14th Street between 6 and 7th Ave (if you are walking West on 14th street, it is on the right side of the street between 6th and 7th) and Angel and Beast are on 6th Ave between 14th and 15th Street (if you are walking North, it is on the right side of the street past the Dunkin Donuts between 14th and 15th).

Also, there's Wolverine and Rogue on 35th St. and 2nd Ave, and Beast and Angel on 2nd Ave and 80-something St.

I was on an excruciatingly long bus trip back from a meeting in CT today and found those so far.

Ironically, none of the posters I saw were in the bus shelters.

And not a single person complaining about the font. :)

hopefully soon, I'm so gonna print them out at school. They have NICE printers on campus...

It beats paying $355 on ebay for a Jean poster....

EXACTLY
some people just don't have the patience

355 dollars??!! the world's gone mad, please stop it, i want to get down...

I'm wondering if the person bidding on it is even gonna pay. There's always people who purposely drive up bids just to be a-holes.

Well, was in Chicago tonight and looked at a few bus shelters and did not see any :(

Sure would have made me happy, with all the bad I am going through right now :(

I like the new posters.

A little bit too much like a print add for footwear.

Still... I like them

Check the phone booths too!

I just saw the Wolverine poster on a phone booth on 37th St, and 6th Ave. :-)

What awful posters. Flat, poorly conceived and uninspiring... and typographically, far too understated. Some hack designer was obviously going for 'mood' and came up with this utterly generic and unsatisfying 'concept'.

Feh. :down

I LOVE these posters...as you can tell by my avatar

i love how certain people only think wolverine is suppose to be in "rage mode" when shown in a poster or picture

You know, listening to some of these complaints...I'm again reminded of my friend's 6-year-old when he didn't want to see the Little Mermaid show in Disney World last summer.

He took one look at the lobby before we went in, stomped his feet, and yelled "WELL THIS IS VERY BORING!!!"

In the end, he liked the show. Go figure.

Yeah, I wanna see more posters of Wolvie looking like he's sulkling b/c his boyfriend just left him and took the Pomeranian, the espresso maker, and the entire Liza CD collection.

Ive said it before, if you really think thats all wolverine is about just slicing, dicing and looking angry, you clearly dont understand his character

^ wow so many stereotypes, sounds like you're the *** here
Shut up and kiss me.

I can't say I'm surprised that so many here adore these posters when I see peeps going orgasmic over some of the dreck in the Fan Art thread. Easily amused, I guess. Whateva.

wow

1st) calm down homophobe..

2nd) ever consider the posters represent the loss of an x-man? the death/return/side switch of jean? Or i dunno the saddness over the cure? in cas you didnt notice.. beast and rogue also are looking down and saddened.. the only real reagal one in any pic is jean (wich represents her rebirth) as well as angel soaring (representing his freedom) there beautiful pics.. not suppose to be adrenaline running ones from anger.

Very uptight, I guess. Whatever.

The X3 marketing has indeed been lackluster at best, and when something new comes out, everybody gets excited. No big deal. The posters are very "Batman Forever", meaning they're taking the franchise in a different direction.

Doesn't mean it's a bad thing...............
