Comics The '07 X-Event: Endangered Species, Messiah Complex, & Disassembled

The Blinded arc goes from 200-203, 204 is a stand alone, then the crossover is from 205-207.

The Blinded arc is a lead-in to the crossover, with 204 being the calm before the storm, so it's going to come off as a 7 issue crossover from the Adjectiveless angle of things.

Thought Blinded was some sort of prelude rather than an integral part of the whole thing. Oh well.

I think this might end up like Colossus:Bloodline. When there is plenty of hype, but it is quickly forgotten.

I hope its good bc this is the first major X crossover in 10 years. Its been a long time since OZT

Yes, because Colossus: Bloodlines was a story that crossed over into the majority of the X-books. :whatever:

Ahhh OZT...one of my favorite storylines EVER! I LOVE LOVE LOVE every book from that time - even if it wasn't connected to OZT (like Uncanny (except for what, one issue?)).

and that was a Spider-man issue in disguise. Its weird bc that was the only time that Uncanny was not involved in a crossover and its the main book

I hated when they introduced what they hyped as MAJOR NEW CHARACTERS and THE FUTURE of THE X-MEN (Marrow, Maggot, Cecelia Reyes and before the idea was axed, Sabra) only to have the characters stick around for about half a year, Marrow, a little more, then shuffled off to die or fade into limbo

mikhail only matters to peter, everywhere else he is a nonfactor

I liked all those characters and Kelly had big plans for them but Marvel went stupid and axxed all of his ideas. I think he and Seagle had a good thing set up and both books were the best they have been in years. What does Marvel do? Force them to drop every one of their characters except for 4 and incorporate the Excalibur characters bc that series got cancelled. That was when I stopped caring about the books and didnt get interested in them again till Claremont came back only to be disapointed

Kelly and Seagle were awesome and a breath of new fresh life giving air. I enjoyed their runs and their ideas. When they left..so did I. havent been back since. I just keep up with everything via the web now.

Kelly and Seagle are what got me into collecting and reading the books. Before I was a casual fan, who watched the cartoon religiously and occasionally picked up a book here and there but I picked up X-men 70 and was amazed at how great it was. I started reading both core titles on a monthly basis and thought the whole run was great. I liked what they had going and it was something that was actually different. They wrote the team as real people with real problems and issues. I loved that they were broke and facing problems. They were a breath of fresh air I cant beleive Marvel ran them off the books. Davis run was just downright bad

I didn't much care for Kelly and Seagle; they played favorites too much for my tastes. Too many double standards.
