That's assuming the Academy will change its attitude towards horror films which they haven't done in almost 35 years.

It would be great if the Academy did the right thing and rewarded films with merit but did so in new categories:

Best Horror or Thriller
Best Comedy or Musical
Best Stunt Ensemble/Coordinator
Best Young Actor/Actress
Best First Feature/Directorial Debut

I think it would revive theatrical comedies again and not have them dying on streaming and we can live in a world where horror movies like The First Omen or The Substance gets an Oscar.
