When you realize Chelsea's character really wasn't necessary to the show. :o

I get the feeling the backlash against Emilia Perez might have convinced the Academy to rethink their votes this year. That and the actress getting into trouble. I honestly never even heard of this until the Golden Globes aftermath.

On a lighter note, what movie do you think will win Worst Picture as the Razzies? My money’s on Borderlands or Megalopolis. Latter is my preferred pick (finally saw the damn thing).

I love how “The heirarchy of the DC Universe is about to change” almost reads like a prophecy with a twist ending now.

Instead of Black Adam being a cornerstone at DC for years to come, it immediately results in 1) new leadership for the studio who want to reboot and 2) Johnson deciding to cut the **** in order to finally be taken seriously.

I got to see I'm Still Here today, and it was surprisingly plain but watchable, well-made but kind of generic. I was definitely expecting more.

Same, it's very serviceable but I really wanted more out of the characters and the authoritarianism that was happening at the time. Granted it's not based on real people (but the event surrounding them was obviously real) but The Seed of the Sacred Fig did it better.

Absolutely. I also didn't like how the most interesting parts about Fernanda Torres' character seemed to happen off-screen. It almost functions like a four-hour movie that's been condensed to two hours and now feels incomplete but somewhat heavy. This could've either been much longer, shorter with a more cohesive angle, or even an epic miniseries.
