Seems like an odd move but when you think about it, podcasts have more or less eclipsed television talk shows. I just don't know why the Golden Globes would make an effort to do this when they've never acknowledged talk shows.

In the grand hellscape of corporations buying the rights to the Oscars, there are way worse ones than YouTube. Bezos would probably try to get his wife an Oscar if Amazon bought the rights.
